Namco announces the release of a Trusty Bell pack in Japan, planned to hit shelves the 14th of June. The big green box will feature a Core pack, as well as a shiny version of Trusty Bell (named Eternal Sonata in Europe). Too bad we won't ever see this pack outside of Japan.

You should correct the news, it's named Eternal Sonata in USA, there's no publisher yet of this date who have announced this release in Europe.

I so badly want news about it soon, but I may just end up selling my PAL console, after all Europe is and always bean a third world county when it comes to RPG.

You buy a nice new console bundle, has a great game with it, rush home hook it all up, start playing, go to save your game.........hang on a minute, oh crap I *CAN'T*

Thats a good solution for a cool RPG pack!! At least bundle it with a memory unit, sheesh!

A very good point indeed but guess what ? they did they same thing with Blue Dragon and the bundle sold 80.000 on day one. Im sure they're not idiots they will buy the memory card separately but you're right they should have at least bundled it with the console.

I duno why there is so much hate towards the core unit, Some of you guys aren't very bright...

Think about it .. a game with a console at a cheap price..

Or a game with a console at a more expensive price..

Which seems more attractive to a non gamer type ?

Screw the memory card, if they get home and realise they can't save their game then its back to the games store.

At first glance I thought that 360 in that bundle picture look slightly different from my 360 (besides from that mysterious scratch of mine). Then I realized that the hdd takes a way a lot of 360s glory. Damn, I should have bought myself a core

Edit: Man, I'm stupid. Took another look at the picture. It isn't the hdd, it is the white tray. That makes the different. It looks totally hot. Damn, I want one.

Just wondering, would this game look nice even on a SDtv... Some titles look amazing even on SD, others not so much. And this game looks beatiful in the HD shots, hope its also nice on an SD.

When I got a Playstation + FFVII for xmas all those many years ago, I hadn't asked for a memory card as well.. so I couldn't save until the stores opened up again a few days later.

I mean, coming from a SNES, having the saving ability built in or included one way or another just made sense. Buying memory cards? Whats that?

If I had friends with Playstations at the time I would have known better...

By the time I had a memory card I was doing speed runs of FFVII and getting pretty far in before dying, well beyond the collapse of the tower and leaving the city.
