My word...

Seriously, why bother ZUXXEZ?

They really should work hard to make this a Diablo-esque MMO. It think it would find a better niche that way.

Because Two Worlds actually sold very well?

They can fix the problems of the first one in this game, and hopefully make a better game.

I'm with you. "If at first you don't succeed, try and try again" shouldn't apply to making games.

At least this one doesn't look like a PS1 game, like the first.

Wow... Well, i'll have to take your word for it.

Clearly people didn't play what I played via the marketplace demo.

the game has issues but it did a LOT of things better then the often compared oblivion. especially in terms of customisation of weapons/armour, the sheer amount of weapons and armour, and the potion making side of the game. combat was simpler but better, and overall it just worked a little better then oblivion from a gameplay standpoint, where it fell flat was performance (although oblivion wasnt great in that area either) voice acting and length (only 25 hours to do majority of the game compared to oblivions 100 hours) it was a very entertaining rental. and i cant wait to rent this one too.

The game did sell pretty great, especially on 360.

I think people are starving for more open world RPG games.

There where things that where better then in Oblivion(Like fog of war... on the map) And some other minor but nice things. It did have lot's of misses, maybe next time more development time will fix lot of issues of the first title.

I wouldn't doubt that it sold well. Don't forget casual gamers make up most of the market and games like Petz, Cars, Spongebob etc... all sell boat loads of copies.

I do agree the demo was horrendous

A sequel?

the 1st one was terrible.

I don't know about the content of the game...the core content may be great, i won't pretend to know, but the presentation was so awful that even IF the game does a lot of stuff in a good way it was just too horrible to look at and listen to to enjoy the bright spots. At least for the 20 minutes i could stand to play it. As for this...if they fix the animation, kill the voice actors from the first game and try not to make the main character look retarded, then hey...we might have a solid rpg right here.

The fact that this game sold well showes how poor the selection of western RPG's is on the 360. It's pathetic.

Two Worlds was the furthest thing from a casual game. It was just a bad hardcore game.

The 360 is getting a pretty good rate of WRPGs, but they come out so rarely these days...

I'm not going to quote so many people so I'll add some points.

1. Patches fixed most of the problems.
2. Unfortunately demos are still a bad way to judge an entire game.
3. Other than that, it played very good and was enjoyable.

How many western rpgs is their on the PS3 and Wii? I don't think it's only a 360 issue as you put it.

Who said anything about PS3 or Wii here. Two worlds is a 360 console exclusive, so how exactly is the PS3 or Wii relevant in this discussion?

because you said this:

that sentence singles out the 360, and it seems like you mean it is an issue only for the 360 when there's a lack of these games over all.

They did away with horrendous voice acting, shitty animation and half-assed design with patches? Pretty impressive.

It singles out the 360 because Two worlds is a 360 console exclusive. If it sells well on that platform and it's because of the lack of WRPG's on that platform, why would I even include any other platforms?!

But don't worry people, the WRPG selection on the PS3 and Wii is pretty much non-existant thus even worse than that of the 360.

Feel better now?! *sigh*
