Now that people can buy the licence for Epic's Unreal Engine 4, the tech demos available with their new engine have popped up on the web thanks to the magic of NeoGaf[/url]. Since we managed to capture properly the Effects demo, here it is in 60 fps Gamersyde quality. Let us just remind you that the demo is quite old now as it was made back in 2012, so we can expect the engine to be even more impressive today. That being said, this should give you a pretty good idea as to what to expect for the new generation of games. Update: Elemental demo video added. We captured it at 30 fps so the framerate would remain steady. Update 2: One last video added.
The biggest difference to me is how your character POV changes. I don't mind third person games it just changes engagements a lot when people can see around corners and over high cover etc. (1 Hour ago)
person multiplayer - I just prefer to see the character I am playing with. (2 Hours ago)
@GriftGFX: I very rarely play 1st person SP games. The only ones I played are FarCry 1/2/3, Doom 3, Halo 1/2/3/4/5. RE7 put me off because of 1st person but I will play it eventually. I dont play 1st (2 Hours ago)
Third person cameras can be a bit annoying in multiplayer shooters since it allows you to move the camera beyond your line of sight. (9 Hours ago)
@alimokrane: Why do you only play third person multiplayer games? Do you only play third person SP games? (9 Hours ago)
@droezelke: What Scoobs said is what i meant. I really like how that looked. Of course gameplay remains to be seen. (12 Hours ago)
