I have tried the 'next-gen'-filter, but have no idea what it does. It looks exactly the same to me. Anyhow, this is one of the best games I have played. I thought Batman would be GOTY, but U2 just kicks it's ass off the throne. I'm not a PS3-fanboy at all (have Xbox360, PS3 and a serious PC-rigg). When I play the game, I get the same feeling I had with Half-life 2.
The only thing that dissappoints me is the multiplayer. I hate the matchmaking. You have to be very lucky to be in a close match.

doughnut Drake looks funny as hell..! And sounds really awesome, haha! Though, I am questionning myself: is his voice really tweaked for this skin, or does it just have to do with the game running in slowmo mode??

you just need to experience it. mere descriptions wouldn't do it any justice. i think the thing that makes it so great is how its presentation, gameplay, story, atmosphere/s, character animation etc all blend together to produce a very immersive and even sensual gaming experience. it's just a constant assault on the senses(visually, audibly etc)
you go from one breathing taking enviroment and setpiece to the other.his voice is actually tweaked. whenyou play as doughnut drake in regular mode he sounds and even animates differently.

VaBu, no, slow motion doesn't affect sound effects nor voices (as you can hear in the swimming pool part of that video, Chloe voice is normal). It's just Drake's original voice being electronically modified to "match" the extra size :D It's basically the same result u get by altering your voice with the Voice Changer in the XMB.

I might consider playing through the game again as doughnut Drake :)...but only after I finished it without any tweaks on hard (and maybe crushing) first!

What a bloody joy this game is up till now, from what i have played it is quite possibly one of the finest SP games that i have played in the last 30 years.

The fat drake tweak is one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I think cried a little.

HOLY BOULET TIME(TM) BATMAN!! Seriously, DOES anyone rate the videos, or is 3 just a standard "rating"? I couldn't care less meself. Anyway, I could finnish the video because I got bored :P Really, seven minutes to show what looked like 2 extras? Still, the fat Drake is funny, but the low gravity thing should effect your jumping too. I can't imagine playing through the game at that pace- eek...
