The Video Game Awards are done, and as usual the "ceremony" was used to announce many new games and traiers, and as usual also these trailers are for the most part exclusive to another site you all know. We still manage to find the trailer of one of the most anticipated game of 2011: Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.

why are people on about Drake's jaw?! We get it, you noticed it, but will that effect your game experience? If Dante had an actual stick up his ass but still played the same, no one would care!

Drake looks diff in each game, devs must just want to differentiate them Drakes.

seriously, the game loooks stuning. but i too dont like his weird jaw. it doesnt seem to be noticiable in some scenes, but then is very noticable in others. drakes face has changes slightly with each game tho. so it's not a HUGE deal. but it's still weird. where i didnt care about the changes in infamous becasue the character of cole wasnt as fleshed out or cool, or interesting, i DO care about the visual changes seen in drake because he is all those things.

the dev dairy was actually interesting for a change too. not the ususal promo Bs.

i really am thankfull nolan north got the job to voice drake tho. i seriously dont think the game, or drake himself would be anywhere near as memorable if it was someones elses voice in there.

can't wait to see more. which if what i read is true, wont be too far away (monday)

Coming from someone who loves the new "Dante" LOL

Anyways, finally a desert setting with sand as main attraction, Uncharted always reminded me of a modern version of the movie The Mummy _(one of my favorite movies), and finally I got my wish.
Yes, Nathan's face looks different a bit but IMO this is the best Nathan design yet, I love the style he has for this one.

Anyways, I am super hyped for this game so much!

I noticed the "change" aswell, in the desert it's odd, when he's reading the book it likes like UC2 drake. I'm not sure what to make of it. Maybe he broke his jaw or something and it didn't set right? Has to be something like that, i doubt they would make a change to the character design just to make him look disfigured without any plot related reason.

Its simple, when you grow older, your facial features change. If your young and look like Drake, when you grow old, you may well look like Sully.

That was my other thought, he looks older / heavier in the desert. It's odd that they would jump to tell a story THAT much later, and in the gameplay clips he doesn't look any older, he's certainly just as nimble so it's tough to believe he's 10 years or so older than in UC2.

As for the TR / lara quip, most of her changed were due to generational leaps in technology, they could afford to throw multiples more polygons at her. The changes to drake are in 1 console life cycle and they are ingame models, the changes are more artistic choices than some ability to render the character better.

Well if you look at Jakie Chan, he definitely looks defrent than he did 10 years ago, but still just as nimble.

looks ace cant wait, i am sure we will forget about his jaw after about 20 seconds of playing it.. but until then... that jaw line lmfao.

And yes people change as they grow older, but there bone structure does not.

Now sam Fisher... there is a guy who has had some serious surgery..

I think there just trying to aim it more so at the American market, butch shit sells better over there (gears as proof) not trying to stereo type or anything here, but well... its just bloody obvious lol, play online and you will meet Europeans and japs all day, Americans probably about 5 a day make a appearance

Your bone structure does change as you grow older. Bones become thicker as more calcium deposits build up. You dont look the same as you did at 5 years of age do you? a 25 year old looks nothing like he did when he is 65.
