Beat them up fans will get a first taste of Bloodforge tomorrow on Xbox Live Arcade, should they decide to download the game's demo. Because we would not want you to be surprised, we decided to capture a few videos of the game ourselves and here is the very first one introducing the main character and the story. As its title seems to indicate, there is a lot of blood in Climax's game and the violence unleashed here is that of anger and revenge, something Kratos would probably understand very well. Provided you have nothing against the art style and you manage to get past the camera issues, you will probably have fun playing the game. As for us, we can't say we have been particularly seduced by what we've seen, but then again it just might not be our thing. Update 3 : Fourth part added.
i'm a fierce supporter of niche games, which is why i'm willing to pay $50-60 USD on a module (a deep simulation of a single plane) for DCS. (54 minutes ago)
i don't have a problem paying full price for a 10-15h experience, but i know many do. I also wouldn't choose to play a game i was perhaps gonna spend a lot of time with based on if it was free or not. (59 minutes ago)
the 10-15h games could ofc be put into some netflix type service, not as the primary distribution i think, more like getting 1 year old movies on netflix, after they had their theatrical and video run (1 Hour ago)
Basically.. online-only PVP stuff works pretty naturally. Applying the same logic to a single player game is doomed to fail. (1 Hour ago)
