Almost three years after Alex Mercer's new birth, Prototype 2 is about to introduce us to a whole new main character going by the name of James Heller. Not much has changed in this sequel, which basically means it is still a rather entertaining game with a few flaws. The lack of novelties will probably one of them for some, as most missions are very similar to those of the first opus, repetitive gameplay - though undeniably fun - could be another one for others. The graphics have been improved over the first Prototype but they are still way behind other open-world games, inFamous 2 being the first one that comes to mind. Here are a few gameplay videos showing extracts from the first hour of gameplay.
I'm confused by the confusion in that video. You can feel where the button pivots.. I don't know why someone would apply force there. (1 minute ago)
I think the word we're looking for here is "dainty." (8 minutes ago)
He has little girl hands- which is a big point of contention in our relationship (11 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: Watch the video in that article, it wasn't designed to be used like the 360/DS4. I definitely see it as an advantage now. Can't complain. (12 minutes ago)
Well I'll be damned. I thought this was a troll article, but this actually makes a lot of sense. [url] (14 minutes ago)
Effortless? The shoulder buttons require too much force? So you have tiny, weak hands. Got it :P (22 minutes ago)
No, I'm definitely sure the shoulder buttons are way worse. It's effortless on 360/DS4. I've used Wired 360 so long I forgotten about that buldge, but it's still a good deal heavier than DS4. (25 minutes ago)
