After years of waiting, Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is here to bring the fans a sequel to a series started on the first Xbox. Unfortunately, no more pricey controller to play with, the game now features a combination of Kinect and gamepad and it's just terrible to play. Kinect is unresponsive at best, going crazy on a regular basis, which makes it impossible to enjoy the game. You've probably read a lot about it so we won't insist too much, but suffice to say this is the perfect example of how bad Kinect can be used. You can't imagine how hard it was to choose gameplay footage which did not cause severe headaches, so enjoy, or just stay away from it and enjoy the summer sunshine.
@KORNdog: so nowhere near as good as let's say mgs3 (i loved that one)? i knew the open world thing would lead to what you described. ;( (10 minutes ago)
Best game ever? Not even close. (1 Hour ago)
@KORNdog: I agree. I've been playing for 6 hours. And I'm getting bored. Too little progress in items, tools and weapons. And every mission is the same. (1 Hour ago)
MGSV to me feels like just cause. You have mechanics that you are free to llay with in a world, but the objectives all feel samey and hollow because of it (4 Hours ago)
You either give the player those crafted moment at the expense of the freedom people exoect in an open world (gtaV) or you make everything samey and keep the freedom. (4 Hours ago)
I think its just because its hard to create meaningful, well designed moments in an open world. (4 Hours ago)
@KORNdog: Yeah exactly. Never once in MGS1 and 3 was there a truly dull moment. Hell, MGS2 had awesome stuff as well. Are we just spoiled, or is this open world thing not for MGS? I'll a lot more 2mor (4 Hours ago)
