Page 1 2 >>Someone must have overheard me a few weeks back as I was playing this classic on the n64 and was wishing someone would make another car combat game for the 360 as they're isnt enough of them these days.
Any idea if it is just a remake or if theyre adding anything else like extra maps?
* Eight gorgeous, highly varied ‘70s vehicles, rendered using advanced metallic shaders at 10,000+ polygons each
* Classic V8 character personas and unique special weapons
* Six standard weapon pick-ups with three advanced attacks each, featuring both ‘classic’ (combo) and ‘casual’ (charge-up) input methods
* Multiple collectible power-ups and ‘salvage points’
* User-customizable car paint color
* Advanced car physics for hyper-semi-realism and ultra high replay value — easy to pick up, difficult to master!
* Spectacular pyrotechnic, destruction effects, and physics-driven interactive hazards
* Single player modes against advanced bot AI
* Local split-screen modes up to four players
* Online multiplayer with up to eight human players
* Voice and (hopefully) camera support
* Leaderboards, achievements, unlockable secrets, and more!
* Free and premium extra downloadable content planned...
Now lets just hope they can bring it out real soon.
This has some ties with Interstate 76 doesn't it? Loved that game...
They cannot beat Mr Groove, i want my Interstate '76 back T.T
it was basically the only title apart from mortal kombat
this has nothing to do with interstate 76/82, V8 was by different devs etc
Ps.: Sorry for my english folks, but I hope u all know what I mean ... :)
Must say im tempted to purchase my first Arcade game in some time...
Twisted Metal ??

What the hell? the dreamcast had a shitload of good games!
And Phantasy Star Online, and Quake 3 arena and Jet Set Radio and Shenmue, and...
As for V8, glad to see it back. I love the hell out of the Twisted Metal series, but V8 was always a much better experience - even if it was never quite as famous. Now all the V8 love is back, but in a $10 package.
Only makes you wonder, if you can get V8 for a measly $10, why pay $60 for the new Twisted Metal? Perhaps EatSleepPlay are making the new TM game as a $10 PSN title. I mean honestly, knowing I can get V8 for $10 has really put the damper on my picking up TM for $60. This is great news, indeed.
