MMO combat flight simulator War Thunder gets a nice CGI trailer that gives a good view at the game's atmosphere. The title is already available on PC and will be PS4 launch title. Update: PS4 gameplay trailer added.
Really excited about this being free to play on PS4. Honestly, that pretty much sealed the deal for me to get one. Flight sims are a dying breed, and Gaijin/Maddox is really one of the only devs who still strive for realism and has a passion for their work. Birds of Steel was the best console flight sim ever made, and IL-2 & Pacific fighters were the best PC flight sims ever made imo.
I'm a little disappointed after watching some gameplay that they really haven't done anything with the visuals, but games like this are all about the physics anyway. Can't wait!!

Yup. And there are ground forces as far as i'm aware. They mentioned it in the reveal trailer. But i think it might be a seperate "thing"...at least on PC?
Its always very amusing, when its called a combat flight simulator. :-D Funny indeed. But still a nice game.
Are the physics and flight model in this game different from the past Gaijin games? I haven't played this one, but I was assuming they were similar to IL-2, Pacific Fighters, etc.
