Wildlands beta co-op video

Wildlands beta co-op video

Today, while playing Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, I ran into Eloniss, an ex-French speaking mod from Switzerland I used to play with in GRAW's multiplayer. It allowed me to record some PS4 Pro footage of the same mission we played twice (because I had left him for Dead the first time). We'll try to bring you back more videos tomorrow if we manage to find time.
Update: 3 last co-op videos added (still on PS4 Pro).

Well he started it. He kept shooting at the plane because he didn't realize I was inside. Quite the team huh? :p

Team damage/griefing. The best part about any coop game with buddies. :)

Well, considering shit is necessary to our survival, I don't see the problem.

Plays a lot like MGSV. Not entirely sure thats a good or bad thing yet, but i'll probably pick it up for co-op. Graphically it's super ugly though.

Do you guys have any PC footage of co-op? I'm in the beta, but I just haven't gotten around to installing it.

(and I just realized it ends tomorrow morning. What the hell type of closed beta...)

If you mean plays like MGS V in terms of movement, aiming & shooting, then I would say that is absolutely a good thing.

Nevermind on the PC videos.

I'm not about to go out of my way to do the developers job in making the game compatible with my rig. I'll keep my $60.

it's not as polished as MGSV in any of those areas sadly, i meant more in regards to an open world of nothing, with bases you return to over and over again for different reasons (collect intel, rescue whatever, steal whatever) there doesn't seem to be any big, curated story missions, they're all just structures you're tasked with infiltrating, and once you infiltrate it the first time, there's not much reason to deviate from that method the second time. it lacks variety in a huge way. but co-op does remedy it in some aspects, in the same way co-op saves most games.

graphically it's a shit show imo. horrible lighting where the sun never seem to actually rise fully. with pitch black shadows all the time (i can only comfortably play at night with nightvision) terrible looking foliage that looks like it's rendered at about 3 frames a second. and just generally it looks like an up-res'd PS3 game. MGSV not only looked better, but ran better too.

The stream of the second video does not seem to work and the one of the fourth stop way before the real end of the footage we recorded. If you want to watch these 2 videos, the best way is to download them at the moment. Sorry about that.

Damn, sounds like a it will be a bargain bin buy, if at all.

alimokrane Good interview with Phil Harrison: [url] (1 minute ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog so why does it matter if they make the next one or not? it's like people being excited about rare making a new perfect dark when the people who made perfect dark 1 on the N64 are long gone. (21 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog and the mention of brands being popular is ironic seeing as that's all dev studio's are. valve today is nothing like valve when half life was being made. they've lost all of their key staff. (22 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog tbh as long as good developers are making good games i don't care what franchise people want to attach to them. hell, most devs would probably do a better job at half life than valve at this point. (23 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog and as for outsourceing half life, wasn't that what valve were going to do anyway. wasn't episode 4 (what happened to 3?) being developed by arkane? (25 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @nostradamus: you actually have a point for a change. half life would actually need decent characters for naughty dog to be able to do anything with it. it may as well be a reboot. (31 minutes ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus naughty "we make movies"dog taking a mute protagonist fps. sure, jan. (4 Hours ago)
