Sierra and Massive Entertainment are finally ready to show the console versions of World In Conflict: Soviet Assault, which will be released this fall on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The bonus campaign included will also be released as an expansion on PC, while the console ports are being developed by both Massive and Swordfish Studios (the developers of Cold Winter and the upcoming 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand). The game got great reviews when it was released last fall on the PC and hopefully the online mode can be just as good on consoles!
As for that tweet by the Windows Central guy, he was not talking about the DF video. See his comment here (53 minutes ago)
@GriftGFX: Because they always have a show of about 90 minutes and they need that time for game demos and announcements. I feel it wouldn't be enough time for all of it. Pre event to me sounds better. (54 minutes ago)
@Moonwalker: E3 could work. But they,d need to bring a lot lf actual games along with it. Othwire they,ll be left holding a console while sony shows us all the games you can play. (2 Hours ago)
Now if they could dig up info on some new games that would be more interesting than some specs on an unreleased console with barely any exclusives. (2 Hours ago)
