The gameplay was dark indeed, but not "that" dark ;) The lighting conditions were not exactly good anyway to shoot videos, as you can see in the PDZ video. You'll se faaar better stuff tomorrow ;)

Yeah, just iron out the inconsistent frame rate and this is starting to look pretty neat. Animations won't improve though I guess, so the spazzy movement is just something I'll have to get used to. It means the game will prolly be responsive though, and that's a good thing.

The animations have already improved since TGS, and facial animation is now in place.

This game looks really good. The atmosphere combined with the jaw dropping visuals looks to deliver a very creepy enviroment, sure to give you a few good jumps. :)

Yeah, the in-engine cutscene at the beginning there looks awesome. I'm talking about the actual gameplay animations of cover/popping out and stuff. They're spaz-like because they're so quick though, so while it doesn't look too hot, it means the controls are responsive and I'd rather have that.

Video doesn't play too well for me. Not sure what's up. I saw enough to be excited though. Love the atmosphere exhibited here. Pretty cool stuff. Love the brief glimpses of creatures running or crawling in and out of frame as the lightning strike. Fun times.

Hope to see some daylight gameplay footage soon though.

man ive played cover shoot before and its nothing like this. the dynamics of how things explode and your cover gettin blown away and all that is jus crazy im lovin it

Why can't the animations be as smooth as GR3?

What would you rather have, precise controls or pretty animations?
