I wouldnt call Eragon promising.

It has dragons, it must be promising.

I guess it's unfair of me to pass judgement before I know anything about the game, but when I heard the word dragon I was expecting more Lair and less Lego WOW

Have you guys watched the video for this on the marketplace? It might look a little rough around the edges but gameplay wise it looks really fun...

lol. Check out the 4th pic. I can't believe they released that, clipping errors and all. And look at the grass...yuck. I've seen better grass on last gen games.

This looks really last-gen. As much as possible, my guess is that it's a xbox game and they decided to release it on the 360 instead.

Urgh this is one of the many things i hate about the gaming industry today, Movie studios trying to maximize profits by flooding the gaming market with crappy uninspired games.

The graphics look like semi-upgraded last gen, maybe like a last-gen game running on a PC or something, but the gameplay actually looks good if you check out the XBLM trailer. Seriously.

Looks worse graphically than Rune running on low settings.
