Screenshots for this game really don't impress, but in motion it looks fantastic.

Looking better each time still, and in motion you're not stood standing to really look at stuff.

The grass certainly looks good, don't know how effective it will be at tracking people though, as it seems to be few-and-far between.

In motion it certainly is shaping up very nicely, the 60fps really adds to the game aswell, though the 'landscape' levels aren't as impressive as the 'town' levels.
Atmosphere is spot on, as usual with COD games, but those animations....arghh..!

Looks pretty good. The models look more realistic than those seen in COD2. The textures look sharper too.

Yeah the trailer on the MP was a surprise, it looks really impressive in motion.

I LOVE the way everything looks gritty, realistic and nasty like it would in a muddy, nasty war. Great work on the textures.

About the game

What's up?

Seth @KORNdog: so nowhere near as good as let's say mgs3 (i loved that one)? i knew the open world thing would lead to what you described. ;( (10 minutes ago)

droezelke Best game ever? Not even close. (1 Hour ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @KORNdog: I agree. I've been playing for 6 hours. And I'm getting bored. Too little progress in items, tools and weapons. And every mission is the same. (1 Hour ago)

KORNdog MGSV to me feels like just cause. You have mechanics that you are free to llay with in a world, but the objectives all feel samey and hollow because of it (4 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog You either give the player those crafted moment at the expense of the freedom people exoect in an open world (gtaV) or you make everything samey and keep the freedom. (4 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog I think its just because its hard to create meaningful, well designed moments in an open world. (4 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: Yeah exactly. Never once in MGS1 and 3 was there a truly dull moment. Hell, MGS2 had awesome stuff as well. Are we just spoiled, or is this open world thing not for MGS? I'll a lot more 2mor (4 Hours ago)
