Contra has been run through a Photoshop filter hasn't it?

Nooo not the papercut filter. I'm sure somebody just thought it would be a smart idea to filter the shots :(

Would have preferred Super Contra but you can't have it all.

Contra will be sweet!

That could be what the game actually looks like. I've seen emulators that do stuff sorta like that in realtime without needing a system anywhere near as powerful as the 360.

The live arcade short in the bringing it home section of marketplace, the guy said it was "super contra" .. I was like WTH, you're showing images of original contra

Yeah, I think it's called KAI or something, some weird emulation filter to get rid of pixels. I'm not a fan of how this one looks though...

Melmoth ..which has been a problem for me. (26 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth also helps if you easily get nauseous driving/flying in VR as what you see is more in sync with what your body feels. (26 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth sorta like force feedback wheels and rumble on gamepads are feed with data (29 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Melmoth: Yes, I've read all of the description. It works for games, music, movies, TV shows and other type of videos. As well as for just relaxing. It's a great idea for increasing immersion. (30 minutes ago)

Melmoth motors which is in the seat. Like how (positive) g-force will activate the seat motors on each side of your thighs to simulate that effect (33 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @Sdarts: The thing with this one is that it isn't just a soundmodule responding to frequencies. This taps into the games (see supported list) and gets data from them, processes and applies to the 8 (34 minutes ago)

Sdarts Btw, you can fly in the backseat of fighter jets by the US Navy, but it costs an arm and a leg, or you need to be very famous to be able to have a request approved. (39 minutes ago)
