since i've yet to see any decent videos of this, does it really look better than the PS2 version in any way other than just being at higher res?

basically, is there a good reason to pay 10$ more for this game, if you already have network adapters on all your other consoles?

Well, yes it's higher resolution.
But I guess you need LiveGold to play this online, while you can play for free on PS2?

god thats awful, look at the player shadow for instance ¬_¬ they could at least make some effort porting this...

I don't really care if this looks like the ps2 version as long as some AA is applied with a higher resolution and 5.1 surround sound...I will be getting this for sure.

You don't need live gold to play this game, all you need is to pay the monthly fee for the game.

There is no monthly fee for the 360 version. (360 servers will be seperate from the PC and PS2 servers)

But i believe you need a gold live membership.
