Electronic Arts just released these new images of Burnout Revenge's Xbox 360 version. This should rock ! Update : The images have been removed at EA's request.

Btw, is Criterion now releasing "BLACK" for the 360? I read some preview and it stated for 360..anyone know anything? (Criterion are the Burnout developers FYI)
I agree noikz, but then again I still have Burnout 2, so I might aswell play that if I want Burnout 2. I think takedowns and traffic checking offer something different in their own right, and I'd rather have Burnout games than.. Not have Burnout games. :)
I've actually held Revenge off awaiting this version. Should be great.
Didn't u guys think it was kinda lame that all off a sudden u had to actually HIT traffic in that traffic attack mode, i kinda thought that was stupid cause sinds the beginning of burnout it was the thrill of NOT hitting anything....
this game doesn't look good to me. Maybe playing PGR3 has just spoiled me. And yeah Firewire, I played this on PS2 and got bored in like 2 minutes because it got really repetetive. You just keep hitting stuff instead of trying to dodge it.
If they had to port BO to 360 I wish they had ported Takedown, that one is so much more awesome. But this looks good, I am sold on this already, thanks blim.

I hardly think the series is ruined. It sells more and more with each new installment. Maybe you just liked it better when it was more niche. But I definitely think Burnout gets more exciting as time goes by (traffic checking is pretty fun once you get used to it). I don't like the soundtracks either, but if you think B2 has good music then there may definitely be something wrong with you.

Me 2 Daytona 2 was a bit dissapointing though...sadly I think we may be waiting a long time, the slow sales of outrun cant have not left its mark (and that game was pretty much perfect!!!)
sadly I do love burnout 1 - 4 but 4 is certainly the worst of all of them, checking traffic is plain insulting and makes the game far too easy, this 360 version looks to be exactly the same but with some new lighting and scratched paintwork textures. I feel for the poor people who have to work at criterion for EA...I am sure they wouldnt mind more than a year to make a new version of burnout, but I suspect we'll see burnout vengance (or whatever they end up calling it) by next xmas....makes me sad :( no doubt you'll be able to take down traffic thats coming towards you to if you boost in to it or some other pathetic new feature.
It looks alright, not what I was expecting out of the super capable Criterion team, but it's just a first endeavor into the next-gen so I'll wait and see.

I have to agree, I gave Revenge a rental and just didn't enjoy it.
