You gotta be more open Megido. I find it pretty hard to believe that someone couldn't enjoy D. Gray Man. It's such an awesome series.

Jolli: i've watched the first two episodes of paniponi now and to be honest i didn't find it to be very funny. It tries to have this sort of wacky nonsensical humor that, when executed well, is very funny but it fails and just ends up being kind of bland. Sure there's the occasional funny joke but it's not enough to keep me entertained i'm afraid. When i watch anime i can watch a LOT. I watched the entire 50 episodes of Eureka 7 in two days, but for this one i had to struggle to watch even one episode :P
Yea the reason its funny is because its parody and makes references to other Anime, Japanese culture and some video games, I guess its a matter of taste, the rabbit is especially funny though.

It's not so much laugh out loud funny as poking fun I suppose :P

When I mentioned it I had a feeling it wouldn't be your thing though :)

Things really get serious and there is a whole new twist added to the story. Well multiple twists. There will be a great deal of progress in the next set of episodes.

Yea I don't doubt it, I won't read Manga as I feel it ruins the anime when I watch it.

You do have a point, it definitely spoils surprises, and boy will there be surprises, but sometimes when I really get into an anime, I just can't resist looking at the manga.

Oh wow, even though I read the manga beforehand, I was still really surprised to see so much get covered in that single episode. All the stuff in that one episode occupied about 6-10 manga chapters if I'm not exaggerating a tad.

This should mean that a number of the things I wanted you to see shouldn't be very far off at all :)

I actually thought this weeks episode was stupid, at a time when all the generals are at HQ, Lulubell turns up.

I don't get why General Cross just doesn't bust down the door and clean up.

Perhaps hes actually there but using his invisable technique or maybe next week he will save the day, yea right !

Its pretty obvious that the Earl of Millennium is guna get the egg back :S

It's too soon for Lulubell to die.

Don't worry, nothing is spoiled that you couldn't have seen at the end of this week's episode. There are things coming up that you couldn't possibly have predicted.

What takes place with the egg? You'll have to wait and see, was only saying that the Generals would make their presence felt, that doesn't mean things will go as simply as we would suspect or maybe it will. Either way, there's quite a few curveballs upcoming.

The thing I really like about D. Gray Man is that the exorcists always seem to be the underdogs with their backs up against the wall. After reading the Lulubell attack arc, I really don't see how the "good" guys can win against the power displayed by the "bad" guys. A handful of akuma from that arc with the Noah's leading seem like they would be unstoppable. I really want to see what tricks the exorcists are going to try.

Don't forget that creators of Japanese comics/cartoon creators have always their ultimate tool of narration up their sleeve - a good character can wind up coming off a battle 10 more powerful than in the beginning of it, even though he has has all his bones broken, his muscles torn to pieces and lost gazillion litres of blood. But hey!, they have powerful friends like will to save the world and/or destiny etc, so it all makes sense in the end.

I think tomorrow I'll write a post responding to some messages on the first page, as I left them without my insightful and wise answers. :P

Hopefully that's a sign that you've watched more of the anime and finally see why we like it so much :)

Well that as crap I was expecting some huge fight with Lulubell, although I could see that Miranda was going to bring the egg back from the start of the episode, how predictable was that ... :P

I thought this episode was pretty dissapointing.
