uh, I don't remember, I don't think so, but just check the menu and see if it gives you the option when you go to start the game. if you're the leader of the party you should be able to choose map and whatnot.

played horde for the first time, only for an hour. I made it to wave 17 only, but it was first time and with some random guys. It was damn fun! yeah, lets hook up next time!

Matchmaking seems to have gotten worse for me. I haven't been able to get one game together today so far.

I was having a lot of problems last week but there was reported issues with XBL in general by Major Nelson himself. When I try and find a game it comes up with some crap about remote parties and keeps restarting. Quite annoying.

Im hopin they totally redo the matchmaking, i know i wont touch the multiplayer until its fixed. Trying to join a game should not ever take longer than time spent playing the game and your ability to join a game should not rely on the commitment anyone else has of joining a game.
The whole 5 player party thing before entering a game is perhaps the most stupid design choice ever especially for a console game. The vast majority of people just want to click multiplayer and play, they dont care about ranks or whatever, late joins are annoying but are bearable and a lesser of 2 evils.
Bring back the days of server browsers and viewable pings, at least let those of us that want these things have them in tangent with your forced matchmaking rubbish.

First off, what freaking timezone are we all in? I'm GMT+1, and i figure that the difference might be pretty big so we'll have to agree on a time when we're all available. I'm guessing a weekend will be the best bet, seeing as how most of us can probably bend our schedules a bit more then.

Incorporating us residents shouldn't be that much of a hassle either i guess ;)

i'm GMT+1 (Berlin time)! but this saturday i'll be in prague for the weekend, far from the console :( But you guys go ahead and have fun, count me in next time.

Man...I just got finished two back-to-back games of Horde up to wave 37 each. That shit is tiring. There were only 3 of us for the last maybe 10 or 11 waves in the first game, so I don't think we really stood a chance of making it to the end. In the second game, we had a decent group of people except for one guy who would never plant shields and would always run away from our fortified position. Friggin' annoying.
