Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. Nous sommes également en mesure d'enregistrer des extraits de jeu en HDR pour les joueurs équipés d'écrans compatibles. L'intégralité de notre contenu est gratuit, et accessible en français ainsi qu'en anglais.

Inscrit depuis 7288 Jourshere's stuff being worked on here at Turn 10 that I simply can't talk about right now, but the progress we've made in the last six months has been absolutely incredible. The fact that we're working on our second game for Xbox 360 means our software architects have figured out ways to push the 360 in ways I didn't think were possible in terms of both visuals and performance. You'll pardon me if I sound a little excited, because, frankly, I'm frickin' psyched.
Just imagine how excited Chou will be on the next next Forza game. His head will pop!

Further, the market is starting to get crowded with competition so to be great you really, really need to be great. On the Sim front Pro Racer from SimBin and "crowd favorite" GT aren't going to be easy to best. Especially with the size issues (course, cars). A number of racers have really cranked up the graphical bar for racers as well (PGR4 was beautiful, GRiD looks great, GT5 makes good compromises, etc and so on).
FM1 was a great game. FM2 was more evolutionary and really missed their targets. They had some decent tech under the hood, but the art (especially lighting) needs to be totally rebalanced. Stuff like real grass and some FREAKING AF (totally unexcusable in a racing game... going into the gravel, which looks poor to begin with, looks even worse when you get the nasty blur filtering).
As an internal studio and flagship racer FM3 should set the bar and push the genre. Lets hope. Lets also hope they can be professionals this time around.

Inscrit depuis 7698 JoursThe game had horrible AA, AF, framerate problems, bad reflections, only 8 cars per track, flat lighting, exagerated HDR/Bloom, just 12 FREAKING tracks, crappy car models compared to other games at the time........man, what can I say. But hey, it ran at 60fps for the most part and had good physics. They accomplished 2 out of their 20 goals.

Inscrit depuis 7469 JoursI feel like I didn't make the most out of my forza 2 purchase. I didn't even touch online once... which is a shame, haven't customized many cars and don't have the talent to make a cool looking style for my car lol.
I am interested in seeing if they can do an even better job of tapping more of the 360's power this time around though. We better see something solid at E3 and not CG.

Inscrit depuis 7698 JoursLots of extremely cheap damage control, and outright denials and this conformist attitude like when Greenawalt said that FM1 offered fully rendered interiors and he was quite happy with that (the result? FM2 = same interior), and so much other crap I just have bad memories of--let's not forget that any criticism made you a hater. The game as a whole had some terrible PR, and in great part thanks to "community manager" Che Chou. This guy even made announcements in NeoGaf rather than the official game's forums, how professional.
I think there are limits on where to take hype and how and where you say things, and how you manage the community as a whole. Back in the 1UP shows Che was a likable guy, but as soon as he changed roles he showed some ridiculous idiocy. Now, there are lots of great community managers he could learn from, for example Ben from Bizarre Creations, and Frankie from Bungie (he left now).

He was brilliant in 1up know his decent guy to be fair though it was his first time in such job (i beleive) if can learn from his mistakes now we shall see.
