Im sure alot would like Revelation on the consoles but...capcom chose the 3ds as its platform.
Now, talking for myself here, as a fan I buy platforms for the games I love/am fan of.

According to the listing, between 2-6 players can jump into the game's online co-op mode, with offline split-screen co-op restricted to two players.
This hints at a seperate co-op mode. (I know many would like that)

If u look closely at the trailer, u'll see a human mutate into an insect/arachnid like creature called ''Javo''.
So my guess: the webs are there for a good reason.
