Recently I have had more time to play this again. Other than slow matchmaking and lag it's been fun.

I have to say that I hate when people comes to train at ranked games. First couple minutes just sits at the base picking troops -__- Custom and AI is for training. I am not saying I am really good at this but come on that makes winning impossible when one dude doesn't have a clue what to do.

The beta will last until the release of the game. Pretty cool, like they did with CoH.

So you got plenty time still :DYep. Its ok to go play ranked, they have to start somewhere, but its just they should understand how you win games. Capture the Victory points. Have to attack keep pressure. Sit at base wont do nothing.

Was funny yestarday, was like 3v2, since guy on our team just sit at base :P

Anyway been enjoying the beta lot. Dont enjoy a strategy game like this in a long time. Will buy for sure.

Grift if you haven't yet go and DL the beta it's worth it, not really big file either(a bit over 2GB). I might not train against easy AI because I think they will never leave the base area :p or if they do then it's like one dude every 5 minutes. Not much fun to try different squads. To get game against AI you need to start custom game and quickly fill the player slots with AI, I think there isn't password option yet. Hmm but you can always kick players out too. Yeah like Uruk said beta should be open for a good amount of time.

Finally starting to learn how to play this game, tag is "Maligini"

You can play at the same side too so we can blame you when we lose :P or train basics against AI and then try couple ranked games. RA3 beta, the memories :P

Okay I was wondering who is Maligini, I'll accept it the next time I play DoW 2. Oh and I don't have mic and mostly I don't remember to read the text area but I am quite ok at playing this game :p

Heh I haven't even tried how Eldar or Tyranids are in this game. I have mainly played with marines and a bit with Orcs against AI.

Really, to who wants get into this fast, start with Space Marines, they are the easiest faction to play.
After geting the basics you can move to other factions.

I play with all factions. Been trying all and still cant decide wich suits me more.

Looking forward to play some games.

Im geting quite angry... Why is Steam only service without any extras? So i pay 50€(rip-off) compared to stores, and dont get any sort of extra?

Even so i fail because i guess will end up buying through steam :P

I really dig the changes.Quite interesting change. We will see how it goes.

i fraking hate the update, they ruined my orks, we still dont get T1 supression, the warboss got nerfed, and how the frak does the space marine commander have more HP than the warboss, it goes against the whole point of ork vs space marines... the devs love for space marines and eldar is holding this game back.

instead of nerfing terminator units and banshees those units got slight buffs.... gsus

at least tyranids got buffed. altho the tyranid tyrant needs a serious HP buff, for being the biggest hero he has pathetic HP

I admit Lootas for orks suck, and they are Tier 2. But really orks rarely need any surpression. Its all about melee mostly with sluggas, with couple shootas. Then Waghhhhh them to hell.

Banshees got nerfed.
Terminators really need decrease in Zeal. Very rarely they came into play. 900 Zeal, and 900 requisition was too much. You can get an uber Avatar for 100o Req and 250 power...

And Terminators really dont need any change, they are good way they are. They are supposed to be the best of Space Marines (i think :P) and they are. If you nerf them, so what Space Marines got to go against big badass Avatar for example.

About nids. They ddint get really much buffed, only in some units that well had problems. Like Zoanthrope and Hive Tyrant.

Hive Tyrant was really slow, they increased slightly his speed. And he's the Hero with most HP now.

Still people whine hes a *support* hero. Well he does good job, with his Health Synapse, but being so slow, how can he support the army? The army will reach the battle very quickly while he's all way back walking to get into the fight.

I basically like all the changes.

The armor (tanks etc) last longer now, before they would get easily killed by some melee units, now we actually need bring some Anti tank to the field.

Didnt play much, but saw some replays, with the new requisition update, in 3v3 it turns in quite a spam fest. And lots of people saying so in forums.

Before every squad matter, had to save them. Now wont matter as much, since we can get requisition fast and by so buying another squad.

I still hope they make the UI better though. The keys are too small, and there's lot room in the UI to make them bigger.

I think Tyranids rule more with new patch, they were strong but much more now. Weapons damage was decreased 15%, and surpression guns dont do as much damage as before.

And with the increase of requisition income they just can swarm the enemies, and send the weaker squads ahead and loose them without regret.

Rippers are very good to take Victory points. They can sustain quite lot of damage and still take the point then retreat.

Sad Isomac Apothecary is bugged with last patch. Heal only works himself and other commanders, he still doesnt heal me though ;P
But all will be fixed on 0-day patch, as some other stuff since cant be changed in beta because is code wise, relic said...

Anyway i really cant wait, the more i play, more i want it. Singleplayer should be fun, and co-op!!

Nope, youre correct its all about positioning and timing.

Yeah apo can only heal himself. Oh well the chainsaw upgrade is still good that you can still battle with apo only quite nicely... and yeah sorry Uruk for not healing, there isn't enough "mana" or it's bugged so I can't heal you heheh...

There is some micromanagement with equipment you purchase and you really need to keep squads in cover plus some units have to wait couple seconds before they get weapon set up to shoot at their area. If some one ambushes it from outside the shooting area it's pretty much good bye.

Ok actually the other healing (area version) works great for squads now but you can't move apo while using it. I think that healing didn't work in the earlier version of the game. Apothecary FTW!
