I actually did try it out earlier this week Iso. I didn't give it too much of a go, but what I have played so far was really fun. I think I'll probably pick up the retail, which is a bit of a surprise really since I neglected my copy of Dawn of War 1 for so long.

Thanks And yeah I've only managed to play an hour or 2 but it's amazing so far... I had forgotten how superior PC shooters are!

Im really digging the changes from the patch.

Now, patch brought some annoying bugs.

Apothecary doesnt heal as before, only works on himself and other commanders, dont work on his units.
Only way he has is to get an armor, that heals 50hp sec in a area of effect. But still hes good himself. Bug will be fixed. :)

While most races got nerf bat, Eldar got hit heavily, Tyranids were kept the same.
And well they own now. With the more requisition they can pump lots units and take map control.
Still amazes me why the hell did Relic made Warriors better.
Nerfing other races, and making other race unit good, nice balances lol...

Now Venom canons are bugged too. They kill units very easily now, vehicles dont stand a chance as even infantry. They do way more damage than before.

Ork Kommando nob can kill enemy bases with two bobby traps. Bases have 10000 HP, and each bobby trap takes off 5500 HP :/
Really annoying, and people use this damn exploit online. Whats the point play a Victory condition game, if we get base destroyed?...

The new requsition is very good for 1on1.
But on 3v3 it screwd it. Its ridiculous ammount of requisition we get now. Dont put it back as before, but just decrease it.

All in all i am happy. And im glad Relic is listening. And this bugs will be fixed on the day-0 patch.

Even tho they got nerfed Eldar is still pretty nice. They got plenty of cool units, and Rangers(snipers) are finally of any use now.

Eldar are pretty fast, all about mobility. Hit run, and try lure into a trap.

Heroes all are cool, but if i play with Eldar i tend to go with Farseer now, she can summon Seer council. Its cheaper now to get them, and they are pretty cool ^^

And well you get Avatar in Tier 3, if the game lasts long enough to have him, he's awesome. If he gets support we can push enemy to their base, and take the map control.

I dont know if any of you like watch replays, i do :P I learn lot, and some games are really fun to watch.

This site got plenty, just make sure you download replays after the patch, because old ones dont work.

This game had more crashes than what Burnout games can dream of... What an awful night. Still we got couple good games without crashing. Hopefully works better next time and yeah if there is 4 or so dudes wanting to play next time we need to start custom game so all can play at the same time like Schmooboo suggested. It could also have less lag and crashes that way.

Yesterday I managed to get a couple of matches in but DAMN this beta has a lot of crashes. I think I had 10 crashes and 5 disconnects in one evening or something...

Although the time I DID get to play was great!

I blame the patch! Seriously the beta is getting buggier and buggier. I kinda fear how the game is when it comes out...

They need to think about the maps too, the city one is annoying. Others starts with base on the up and others need to climb the stairs to get to the victory point... that is just BS. The other team can have plasma squad to fire easily to the VP from over the water while the other team can't.

Don't worry Grift, if I am online and you have time to play send me a message and we can pwn Uruk together ;)

Yeah i thought i was the only one who crashed way more since the patch :(
Well hopefully they fix the code some more.

Yeah :)

Sadly they nerfed hard warp spider, so he does really few damage :(
But i still use him. Its so awesome use group teleport, and go behind enemy lines :P

Good games guys so far been really fun.

Wow that sounds good they will fix a lot of issues with that patch! Can't wait to get my hands on the full game. Just pre-ordered at play.com.

(I also ordered The Witcher for 13 Euro's, can't wait to play that as well. I just need to download the "enhanced edition patch")

Quite some cool statistics in there.

Loved the beta, was quite fun. Going to enjoy Dow2 quite much.

And Dow2 is just the beginning, like the first game.
They are planning lot free content, and we cant forget the other factions that will be added, via expansions or even maybe DLC, and even new campaigns.

Going to last quite a while, hopefully until Homeworld 3 hits (me dreaming :P).

Great game! I had some troubles to manage to download the patch from their site, but all worked out. And cool they released all new stuff(patch) of the new release of the game for free, to who had bought the game when it came.

Seemes pretty solid. 9.0

Game has some flaws, and SP seems bit repetitive (from more reviews). But i loved what i played from beta, and im pretty sure im going to enjoy SP.

Nice Force Commander in Terminator squad can have Hammer/Shield(one picture shows it). In MP he cant. Hope they add it...

I like the mix of RTS and RPG in SP. Gaining loot, then equiping hero/squads :P
