So this is my first day 1 purchase in a while. Figured I needed to take a break. I enjoyed the demo somewhat. More or less the same, but I never finished Dead Space 1 and the demo for 2 got on my nerves. So I'm only buying this for the co-op.

Sounds pretty good. The story has never been close to a strength for this franchise, so I dunno what the reviewer is on about.

Dead Space 2 was good and it is worth playing. I'd imagine 3 is just as good, as I have a lot of faith in this team.

Dead Space remains one of the best new IPS of this generation for me

I like the sound of it being more of, something you make of it experience. The choice is there to choose the style

Fun game, except crafting interface could be much simpler and streamlined.

Unfortunately I'm playing it with a friend who is apparently OCD so a 7hr game is now 30hrs waiting for him to craft this dumb shit .

As fun as having a shotgun with a kinetic force blaster is, I miss the precision of the line cutter in the first game. These enemies seem to die no matter where you shoot them and they aren't scary or smart.

An enjoyable experience so far but I can't put my finger on what exactly keeps this one in the above average category and not in the awesome section.

Yeah well don't do it for a fucking half hour if you ask me to play with you. Do that shit in singleplayer. Seriously, every time we found a bench he'd take 20mins and I'd be done in 3. And I died a lot less than him.

Warframe is kinda similar. I'd play that beta with friends, and after each map we'd get to go rank up, customize armor, colors, and weapons. That shit takes time when it becomes a bigger factor to the game.
It sounds as if it's really well done and pretty cool too. I don't blame him.
I hope if there is a 4th they'll push it even more with unique armors.

The interface is clunkier than it needs to be, and most of the adjustments aren't worthwhile.

It's very trial and error heavy, with little to no explanation of what kind of weapon you're actually making. Resources at this point are scarce so if you screw up you COULD be stuck with weapons that won't get the job done for a long time.

At this point I'm trudging through the derelict ships hoping the ice planet Hoth will be worth it. Is that the definition of bad game? Waiting for it to get better? I think it is.
