yeah, it looks and sounds cool. dunno if it's a day one. depends on the content. if we're talking braid levels of short, then 1200 points/$15/£9.99 is far too much. if it's something to really sink your teeth into, then i might pick it up. waiting on limbo for XBLA, so will probably get this one off PSN.

I hope it's a bit cleverer than the surface level stuff makes it out to be. Headlines seem all about the Unicorn poop, but hopefully that's sort of the Fruit Fucker of the piece so to speak. I don't need high brow, I just don't necessarily need Boogerman.

I trust that it will be funny without just being poop jokes. I mean the man worked on Monkey Island 1 and 2, not to mention Maniac Mansion. And since you mention Fruit Fucker, i think he had a hand in both episodes of the Penny Arcade games as well :)

Yeah, I can see conversational humour being too abstract to use for marketing and unicorn poop simply being something more tangible in that regard.

the humour shown so far isnt great imo. if it goes beyond poo jokes then i think ill enjoy it. gameplay wise its looking pretty by the numbers as far as these dungeon crawler RPG's go, but if a game has plenty of loot, i can pretty much guarantee i'll enjoy it.....unless it's too human

I can't even see it on the PSN store yet. Not that it matters as i already bought the MSP i need for it on XBLA tomorrow but still...i guess i could play the demo on the PS3...but alas it's not up yet. At least not for me.

played the demo, and it's pretty much exactly that, each waepon is mapped to each face button, so you can have a sword/axe/knife/boot hammer etc all at the same time and mix between them on the fly. it's all pretty button mashy, but it's kinda fun. humours a bit hit and miss, but even the demo had a few LOL moments. there are apparently 120-ish quests, and the world map looks pretty big, even what's given to you in the demo was large. and i hear it's aprox. 9 hours long, so, decent value too.

overall i personally liked it. will be buying a PSN card and getting it bought asap. there are reviews out there so maybe you should check them out, eurogamer gave it a 6/10. but kotaku pretty much loved it.
