Gamersyde est un site de média-information consacré à l'actualité du jeu-vidéo consoles et PC, et spécialisé dans la production et diffusion de vidéos de haute qualité à très haut bitrate dans leur résolution et framerate d'origine. À l'heure où la compression vidéo exagérée devient de plus en plus la norme sur Internet, Gamersyde est le dernier petit village gaulois à encore résister à l'envahisseur Youtube. Toutes les vidéos sont disponibles en téléchargement et en streaming, jusqu'en 4K et 60 images par seconde dans les deux cas, et dans une qualité largement supérieure à celle de Youtube pour le streaming. Nous sommes également en mesure d'enregistrer des extraits de jeu en HDR pour les joueurs équipés d'écrans compatibles. L'intégralité de notre contenu est gratuit, et accessible en français ainsi qu'en anglais.

Inscrit depuis 8214 JoursI have no doubt Sony will start to sell more PS3's aswell by the time you can burn Blu-ray discs at low cost, and the PS3 is hacked to play "backups".. It's just a matter of time.. The Xbox 360 and Wii already are hacked and can play copies.. And last-gen, how many PS2's you think have been "chipped"? I think many millions..
Only thing that can save a game from piracy I think is online verification.. On PC they counter it with keys you need to play on official online servers (no serious gamer wants to play on hacked servers full of cheaters etc), on Xbox 360 it's countered by MS banning your ass from Xbox Live if cought running backups..
Nintendo has a hard time though, as most of the Wii games are all offline, so no real counter for them.. But the way Nintendo's hardware is selling, it doesn't hurt them much, if at all.. Like I said, it probably sells more hardware for them, same with the DS and it's R4 card..

Inscrit depuis 7460 JoursPerhaps this is the wrong attitude to have, but me worrying about it isn't going to change anything, all you can do is buy your games and do your bit.
Plus when I say buy your games I mean buy them brand new, because the 2nd hand gaming industry hurts developers just the same, and game stores are actually making money from that.

Inscrit depuis 6981 Joursi'm still not completely sold on the engine tho. mainly since the footage and stuff we've seen looks a lot like the doom 3 engine, a very bump map/normal map focused engine, which i've never been a huge fan of. it was impressive on the original xbox, but riddick just goes to show that on current gen consoles it doesnt impress all that much. at least imo.
