The furthest I've gotten without a freeze is when the woman was telling me about her droid that was probably kidnapped. The one her husband made for her.

It's been years since I had a similar problem, but maybe try updating your soundcard drivers as well. I'm pretty sure I had a problem with that which was crashing the game, but im really just guessing at what my solution was.
Chances are I wont get him to be setup exactly like he was before. Gonna get the xbox version :( I got the pc version because I had worries about bc on the 360, but its obvious what I should've chose now.

Like while fighting off 2 sith enemies on the spire I was doing some pretty cool moves with my longsword then out of nowhere kicked the next closest enemy in the face (totally didn't expect that) Then when I hacked into that computer to thin out some of the enemy ranks in the other room man :D I really hope Mass Effect has cool stuff like this.
Seeing just the basic sword combat thus far in this game makes me really want a kotor 3 and makes me miss no melee in mass effect a bit more, but of course there are many other cool aspects to look forward to :) Its a sin that I took this long to get this game.

"You're being arrested for drunk driving."
"Drunk definitely, I don't know if you could call it driving."

From the searching around I've been doing it has something to do with ATI's opengl performance in Windows Vista. I tried some things that prevented the freeze, but now it runs at like 2fps. My GPU is a radeon 1900xtx, cpu athlon x2 4200+ (I tried disabling one of the cores in kotor, but still no success), 1GB of ocz memory. I guess I gotta wait till ATI fixes their driver issues with the first Kotor or atleast release a higher performing opengl driver.
Can't tell when was the last time I loved a game this much. I think I'm going to create a partition on my second hard drive and install Windows XP and use it to play Kotor with.

My cousin got Vista and I have to ask this, is there a way to stop the freaking annoying question of "do you allow this?".....wow, that's annoying! Incredibly stupid.
Aside from that, I hate how it takes double the time to get to the place I want to get. It took me quite a bit of time to get to TCP/IP settings, and while that's somewhat normal as it is a new OS, once you know it still takes double the clicking to get to those kind of settings. Way too many menus and questions.
And how is disk management in Vista different from that of XP? Not saying it isn't, but seeing as how the best of XP is still the same I don't know what changes they could have made to disk management. It's getting to the things that is so different now, and a pain.
Where the crap is Shenmue 3 SEGA? Scrap that thing called Shenmue online and finish the Shenmue epic story on 360!

The FF13 trailer is not real-time gameplay, if you think its real, you are a dumbass.

Disk Management I can't say for sure how its all different as there are many aspects of the disk management I've yet to really mess with. I'm going to uninstall XP off my second Hard drive and put it on the same HDD I have vista on, but I quickly tested kotor and it runs like a champ on XP :)

I had to navigate via a command prompt to find the files and even then it claimed they didn't exist. I copy and pasted the files to my desktop via command prompt and thats how I got them. Nonetheless going to re-install XP (this time on a partition from my main hard drive) and have myself a blast.
