Saints Row IV welcomes aliens

I don't find this series interesting at all anymore. It just moves further and further way from what the original was like for each game. And the direction is very not much my cup of tea... Sure, Saints Row had it's silly elements, but nothing like SR3 and this.

For me is quite the opposite. The originals don't interest me much, and SR3 was a surprise and probably one of my favorite sandbox. It's just crazy fun and I love the whole "Fuck it, let's put in everything we want" :D

They can't compete directly with GTA so they had to go in another direction.

Agreed. I had no problem with the slightly goofy over the top direction of the first and second, but rather than improving the engine, graphics, gameplay mechanics, and physics, they just decided to up the ante by making it more over the top. I pride myself on being immature and non-pc at times, but this is honestly a game I would be embarrassed to have anyone know I play...

Saints Row 3 was the most fun I'd had with the series. The first two were just knock offs of San Andreas for the most part. With the direction GTA is going it's just impossible for them to compete. There's a lot of fun to be had with this direction.

I don't like where this series went tbh. But if this would have had the 4 player co-op everyone was begging for, i'd have probably have picked it up, along with my work mates.

I loved STR3 very very much LMAO all the time. I think its good to go this totally stupid and silly way with this series. I love funny games there are so rare. Never had so much fun as with Portal 2 and Saints row 3 humor.

come on guys Burt Reynolds this was simply EPIC. Maybe Chuck Norris it the new Mayor in Town and gives you on of his Breasthairs as the ultimate weapon :)
