Well that was way more underwhelming than I anticipated. Killzone is supposed to be shipping in ~6 months and they can't show us anything of it? Hardly inspires confidence does it.

The reasons to get a PS3 this year are;-

Little Big Planet
...
Maybe Resistance 2
...
but if you had the money to spend and choose you might be swayed by Gears 2 given the price difference and library.

Basically 2009 is the year of PS3. No Home release date, pretty thin on the ground for releases this year. This time last year everyone was saying MS had no games for 2008 but I've seen Fable 2, Gears 2, Lips, Too Human, Banjo and some other nice stuff.

What have Sony shown.

I'm as pumped as hell for Little Big Planet but it's a bit thin on the ground. They're lucky I've already got one.
