Final thought before I go off to the pub. If MS cut prices properly this year (i.e. get a $199 system on the market) then fall could be a repeat of last year, i.e. MS way ahead sales wise.

The problem is, the way they'll see it in Redmond is that they probably don't need to. Sony are stuck at $399 and have a pretty thin line up for the latter part of the year. Certainly MS can go toe to toe with them in the first party stakes even with LBP.

Obviously there's no interest what-so-ever in competing with the Wii but unless there is something dramatic at Leipzig it's going to be as you were for the next six months.

Well, my friend had something of a breakdown (unrelated to the dullness of E3, mind) so I've been comforting her for the last two and a half hours. I caught the InFamous stuff and that looks pretty great, especially considering it's a living world platformer by people who know platformers.

Other than that I pretty much missed the whole thing. :|

Eurogamer usually blast big news on their front page so I take it nothing exactly earth shattering happened.

MAG was the most interesting thing about it, and that was nothing tangible but a number and a CG teaser, so no point getting excited about it yet at all.

Lol, after watching that conference we all have to cllutch at straws and be excited by a game we've seen no footage of, created by devs with a pretty avg history.

I can't say Sony's Press Coneference was worst than Nintendos but it was still lackluster. Little Big Planet, the potential of God of War III, and MAG is where Sony can regain lost ground in the recent media events.
