Keyboard is useless and even though a stick feels weird at first you'll get the hang of it in a couple of hours :) Just go with Sagat, he's imba ;)

Heh yeah it takes some time to get used to it. I kinda hate the training modes instructions. Like the Guiles's special move had that one symbol I though was charge db and then uf but nooo it was some kind of Z move. It's pretty easy to do now but come one why not just have the arrows for the moves. Oh and that old dudes moves didn't tell that I had to change my stance..

Guile and Abel are pretty fun, and also pretty damn good. I think Guile has a slightly higher learning curve than some other characters. If you're looking to ease your way into it the safest bet are the shoto's (Ken/Ryu/Akuma) followed by their cousins in Sagat, Dan, and even Sakura. I need to get back into it. I wanted to learn Sakura as a back up, she seems pretty brutal in the correct hands.. and she's hella entertaining.

Lol, that's why I don't give in to all these non-sense DLC. If some people are willing to do it for free, why wouldn't the developer do it when they are making millions, and things like these cost *nothing* to do. Sure, charge for for a lot of them, but can't they give a couple for free for each character? Oh well, as long as they get people who buy them, things will never change.

I got absolutely decimated by a Guile a couple of nights ago while playing as Ken. He stayed just out of range of my c.mk, and since I was using a shitty Hori stick that has seen quite a bit of abuse, I was unable to punish his c.rh. That slow-ass sonic boom is great for putting on the pressure as well...at least against me anyways. I still beat him 6 games to 3 though, so it wasn't all bad.

As for mods i think it's cool, but not especially unexpected. Well a little unexpected perhaps, i wouldn't guess that the SFIV crowd would be in to modding anything other than sticks (then again this new texture is the only real mod i've seen so far)

And it's better than most of the DLC costumes available. Seriously, most of them are fucking retarded. Why the hell would they make Ken's alternate costume fur-trimmed pj's? Blanka in a safari outfit? They even ruined Fei Long's alternate; they give him the cuts across his chest ala Bruce Lee, but then they go and give him wrestling boots? Wtf? Such poor taste.

I've always used decimated as a synonym for destroyed and was never aware of the word's actual meaning. I think it's a fair mistake though...especially compared to number of simple, elementary school mistakes others make.

Yeah i think the selling of extra costumes is incredibly lame. Even if they were the most stellar designs ever i still would think anyone who bought them should be kicked in the nuts. They should just pack freaking mod tools with the game like Bethesda and make real DLC instead.

Anybody have any tips on fighting a turtling pussy of a Balrog while playing as Ken? I just got raped badly by one. He'd sit there crouched and would block all my attacks, and when I'd try to throw or, at the very least, us an axe kick, he'd just toss out a jab. I had no answer for anything he did.

Well yeah I don't plan to overwrite game files before taking backups :P

Finally unlocked all the characters. Now I am going to play more challenge / training mode. Level 4 is pretty hard. I don't even want to think about the hard version yet..

I tried online today and it seems like I have a lot to learn :P At least I was able to win 2 matches out of like 10+ heh. I need to read the guide a bit more to understand all the different moves and tricks. I must keep playing I want that someone rage quits and sends me a rude message! Then I know I have got better.

What is the best way to deal situation when you are down at the corner? I can't seem to get up most of the time.

Damn...that was pretty friggin rad.

Also, Ryu's Ultra in SF4 probably has the worst recovery time of any of the characters's Ultras. If he whiffs it, it's pretty much an eternity before he can move again compared to other characters who seemingly recover instantaneously.

So it looks like the update to street fighter 4 is about to be revealed in the next day or so as Super Street Fighter 4.

I know it fits with the "story" and all.. but that's a pretty poor choice.

Well they are supposedly gonna bring back the bonus stages, each character will now have two types of ultras and yeah them 10 additional characters as well. Looks like it not gonna be DLC as well. I'm sure we'll get concrete details in the next day or so. Here is the teaser website Capcom has put up:
