Well thats your personal opinion, but Lucia for me is my favorite hack and slash female model in a game.
She looks nothing exagerated and she looks normal (which I assume you knew I like ;)
Too bad Capcom isn't exploring more of Lucia.

Damn that's so cheesy and over the top, even more than DMC was, but at the same moment so awesome and funny (partly due to the cheesieness). Maybe I'll buy it and play it through with a friend, just for godd laughts. ^^

Please don't be offended with what I'm going to write. This is what I call a teenagers game. And with teenagers I mean ofcourse teenagers, but also people who are older and still act like teenagers. People who describe games and films as 'awesome' and 'cool'. That is no offense, I like those people as much as other people. What I mean to say is: this not a mature game. There is no thinking involved. It's brainless action.
Well games are supposed to be entertaining and depending on what kind of entertainment you want different games are more or less apt to satisfy you. This has nothing to do with maturity or the lack thereof. If anything i'd say that thinking in these terms at all is the immature thing to do. Also i wouldn't call DMC1 & 3 brainless, you have to be aware of what you are doing at all times and that requires both strategy and quick reflexes (using those as examples since it's members of the DMC team making this and from the trailer i get the impression that they'll share more than a few gameplay elements).

Well it's the fact that it is so stupid that makes it funny. It took me a while before i realized how funny and brilliant DMC 3 was with it's wacky sense of humor and over-the-top action, but once you realize what they are going for it turns from retarded to brilliant. I have a feeling that this might do the same thing. I dunno wtf is up with the crotch shots and porno vibe though.

Yeah... like I needed even more of a reason to avoid this game. That Japanese cheesiness does not sit well with me like it does with some people. Couple that with DMCish combat, which I'm not a fan of, and this game doesn't have much going for it as far as I'm concerned.

no homo but female characters in most video games are lame as hell, the devs are always showing of their breasts and asses in skin tight clothes, cmon that shit gets lame real fast and truthfully i feel it prevents me and most other from taking their roles seriously. the only female character i liked was alex from half life.

Well, I kind of agree with Jolli. Might want to generalize a bit more. But I kinda wish it were so. As it is now in my world, kids play crazy games and adults...don't play. So I wish that I can stay childish and open in my own habits and never grow old :)))

i was reading some opinions around internet(forums etc),and god...i don't understand why so many people take games so seriously.we are not talking about doax or rumble roses,i see bayonetta as a kinda of parody,a sexy librarian with tongue-in-cheek humor,everything is over the top just like planet terror and sin city...it isn't somenthing serious,it's just funny and cool.
i'm sure this game will deliver
