About 50 if you rush through it 100+ if you do everything in the game.

Finished it. 60 hours 465/1000. Killed final boss with 5 stars and got the achievment for this. As I said, awesome looking game with stupid story, cool combat system and lame corridors-type levels. Sad, this is not FFX level of quality. 8/10
I want The Last Story now.

Loving it so farm but i agree with ACE this is no final fantasy 10.

My problem is.. well, it just seems "empty" specially due to corridors as ace pointed out, its kinda sad :(
Still.. fucking love it :)

I want The Last Story now.
The corridor type of levels does get on your nerves sometimes, I agree. For some reason though, it didnt bother me that much. I seem to always be looking for enemies to slay to try and get 5* ratings - I find it so much fun. There is not much strategy involved but MY GOD, at least there is lot more strategy that FF12!!!!

I would diagree as much as I didn't like FF12 it had a better battle system and there was more strategy involved.

I have no faith in Final Fantasy anymore, well apart from 14 and it wouldn't surprise me if SE stuff that up aswell.

10 was the last Final Fantasy before Enix merged with Square it's pretty obvious where the problem is.

Well Jolli, There is a big issue here in the fact that they are trying to cater to the Action fans by making a fast paced turn based combat. The outcome is you loose the strategy element and pretty much the old fans but the game is selling like hot cakes so I'm afraid that wont change one bit sadly. I am still quite satisfied with FF13 but this gen Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon will remain my top JRPGs it seems although Resonance of Fate could eventually suprprise many!

I hated the combat in FF12 sooo much that I never bothered going back to finish it even after spending 40 hours playing it. FF13 IMO is so much better in so many ways.

I have to agree about the ffx comment. That game just had a much better overall world, atmosphere, and feeling to it. FFXIII just seems like a bunch of random levels put together so far, and I still don't care much for any of the characters. It's still a decent game though.

Well on disc 2, and i have to say combat is the only thing keeping me playing this game as so far the story is crap and i care about none of the characters (ok maybe 'Hope' a little), the combat is fun and i like how they keep mixing up the characters so you always have to re-think your attack plan, have to say i will prob switch to DA.O expansion this Friday if the story has not picked up by then and come back to this later.

Chapter 9........For Fucks Sake... it reminds me of FF8 when you escape the prison (you gotta recall that it was horrific)

S-E you have majorly fucked up here..

Still a great game though and enjoying it, but starting to think this is FF12 x2

Tried it yesterday for about an hour, looks and feels very good. To my surprise the FMV's aren't as bad, as written all over the net. Maybe the videos in the beginning are coded better, but I even didn't see some compression, and I am very attentive. Even some wires in the train-level (which are very thin) look good.

Well, might be due to 720p though, on PS3 the vids sure look crisper because of the 1080p Blu-Ray quality.

All the reviews are bullshit doc, i personally dont think there will be any diffrence, specially after the "ps3 suffers frate rate issues" ... its a load of bollox, its smooth as a nut.

Alright, 36 hours in and I am starting to get BORED big time now! combat hasnt changed at all.... so u'r basically defeating all enemies using the same approach. Bosses are the only interesting one as they make u think a little bit. There is enough in the story to make me continue but I am quite disappointed at this stage :S

OMFG! chapter 10 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These corridors are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoo fucking annoying, there not just corridors thought there "floating" corridors, you dont feel like your taking part in this world, just viewing it from a distance.
WTF SE have ALL your level desighners fucked off with shigzy ?

Yup!!! Me too that's why I am wondering off doing missions now, the cactuar thing loooooooooooooooool... not sure why mission 54 was unlocked though, it's the big gigantuar and clearly that fight is only meant to happen when u have at least 10k HP
