Looks really nice graphically. The animations look pretty fluid for the most part, even in alpha phase. Still think the battle system looks like boring hanging balls, just like XI, but whatever. I can tolerate it.

Square Enix confirms the final release date for the Japanese version of Final Fantasy XIII officially, on December 17th, for 8800 Yen, roughly 95 US dollars:

Uh. When i saw it without the subs i was thinking that hey, it's a bit cliché but maybe there's hope. Then the translation comes along and...oh god, how can they write this shit without laughing? It's just that terrible. I can listen to Freedom Call song and think the lyrics are less cheesy.
