how smooth this game graphically runs on PS3 ? uncharted 3 had some issues running the game. And The Last Of Us obviously is a grater game (graphically)

That first image is not gameplay, or at least I don't believe it untill Im seeing in my TV.

I think it will run better, but because there will be less things happening at all times, this is not an action all spectacle like Uncharted was, at least thats how I see it, is more stealthy and more metodical.

It already looks better IMO.

By details, I meant which one looks better between it and Uncharted, since both are very different styles of games, with drastically different art styles.

Uncharted tends to have an advantage due to more exotic looking locations.

They seem to think it looks better and is more impressive from a technological standpoint....i tend to agree. But then ND are like voodoo witches when it comes to tech, art and animations. Freakishly ahead of the curve.

It definitely looks great, but it's the intensity and attention to detail in the animations and faces that makes it for me. Graphically it's not wowing me like it may have a few years ago. Of course, I've been playing BF3 and Cryisis 2 maxed on my PC recently, and those just stomp this in everything but the contextual animations graphically,IMO...

The thing with this game is that it looks amazing in cutscenes but very believable when you see shots from gameplay. It looks great though, no doubt, just not mindblowingly impossible :)

yes bf 3 and crysis are meant to be played on pc and graphics depends on your pc capability ... but TLOU has limits ... because ps3 is only one hardware

That's kinda the point though. I'm not the only one who games on the PC more and more because of the limitations of current consoles. A game on consoles isn't going to blow the mind graphically anymore- although it can still be impressive, especially considering the hardware. I'd like to see what ND can do with CryEngine 3. New Generation please!...

agree... current consoles are not good enough anymore ... i see you tired of this generation games too. and the last of us is a beginning to the new generation.

Sadly it's games like last of us that is going to make the jump into next gen feel smaller. Riddick and doom 3 did the same last gen. They looked so good on the hardware they where limited to, the launch titles on the 360 didn't look much better.

yeah sony wanted do the same jumping generation ting with The last guardian but i think it failed ... and yea 360 has nothing to say anymore ... doom 3 was seriously a jump to next gen

Launch 360 stuff looked great IMO, its all about expectations though, some people just have unrealistic ones.

Next gen will be different though mainly because the process of making games will translate easier.

As good as this game looks, we have been seeing graphics as good as this on PC for quite some time now. (in higher definition no less)
