Remind me of that boss again?, also how many unions do you have?

Keep one of your unions on standby or set one of them to heal the other unions if they need it, also you can break the deadlock any of your unions are in and restore your health.

Make sure you have at least one healer in your party and use the Keep your HP up option when your HP falls below 50%.

It may be that you are too low leveled or that you don't have enough members in your union, it depends how hard the boss is hitting you for i suppose, Can't remember that fight either.
Alright, it's the fight at the nest of Eagles, you're basically fighting a Giant guy with a hammer and several other unions. This is part of defending calapleis (Surely spelled wrong) against the army of the

Right now, I have 4 Unions of 3 Units and a Guest Union but I am up against two boss Unions and like 6 other very tough unions. The thing is when I wipe one union out, Reinforcements keep arriving!!!

I have a healer in each unit but I must admit, I havent set any of my unions to standby and heal. I'll try that. Thanks Jolli & Delgado!

Concentrate your attacks on the enemy unions with 3 or more units in them, that way if you get flanked it will be by unions of 2 units and you will take less damage, also send your strongest unions against the other unions and leave your weaker ones to just tie up the bosses, this way you will be able to destroy the enemy unions much quicker then you can concentrate your attacks on the bosses, and remember heal heal heal.

For what its worth I only engage bosses when all the smaller unions have been destroyed, depending on the size of the unions i am attacking, i put 2-3 unions on each enemy union so that I know I will kill them quickly, It's worth noting that some of the spells you may not thing do damage actually are kick ass, stuff like paralyze and poison gas, as well as silencer are great ways of doing a lot of damage.

If you can land a poison attack on a boss it will do loads of damage as it is based on a percentage of their total health.

Thanks for the advice guys! This game honestly ROCKS BIG TIME! the combat is so addicitive!

I am not sure if you guys have done a certain side quest which I am stuck on at the moment (The one where you have to find some kind of combat expert who turned into a monster) - I can see him, he's sort of 90% invisible but I can see him around but I dont know what I am supposed to do especially that he is placed in a pull FULL OF monsters so you cant really concentrate when you have every single enemy followiong you!

I'm sure i did that one, but i don't remember the invisible part? is it the one based in the caves, were you have to deactivate all the magical post before the quicksand stops moving and you can get across to the structure on the other side, then fight some bosses one of which is the hero turned baddie, after i beat him i received a new battle formation., the combat is very addictive i hope more jrpg start going this way but with more customization options for your squads.

And Yes, the combat is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! More customisation would be the way to go

Yea you just speak to the isemi-invisable monster thing and then have to fight it, use the slow-mo feature and talk to him that way so you don't get all the other monsters on you.

Yeah, I figured it out Thanks :)

Now, back to that Nest of Eagles Battle. God Lord!!!! my ass is handed to me every single time but I LOVE IT because you know you messed up a move and you know that had you done a previous command differently, it would have been a different story. Damn, if Only Square used a proper engine to avoid the technical problems, this game would have been a HIT!

Anyway back to try again :)

Finally beat that boos and ....

WOW! I just reached that part of Emma vs the conqueror! Bloody hell that was on hell of a fight/cut scene! but WTF at killing one of the most interesting characters in the game ...... Akhhh, I really liked Emma :(

I LOVE LOVE LOVE This game! my god! I just beat the Gates of Hell Boss... That was one of the best boss battles ever!!! Just awesome! :D

Yea I think that was a crap decision on the developers part replacing Emma like that, and Gates of Hell probably the best boss in the game so far, thought the idea of it using your dead allies as puppets was really cool.

Absolutely. It took me like 15-20 minutes (if not more) to defeat it and I am so glad I was well prepared because, honestly, I really didnt want to do the fight before it again so it's all good when all worked out on the first try. :)

Whoah!!!! just completed the 7 armies and Bosses section, loved it. @ DC you were right the Twin Sisters were hard, there attacks effected the whole party and they kept healing each other :)

Just Finnished the game!!

WOW The Last level along with the last boss and his underlings was so long and hard , took me hrs to complete it, have not had this much fun with a game this year since GOW2!!, even with all its flaws.
SE pls pls pls make a part 2!! (if the audio clip after the credits roll is anything to go bye, there will be a part 2 :) )

I kept dying and I don't have the patients to sit through 30 minutes of fighting to just get killed by a mega boss.

I will no doubt finish it another time, too bad as I was quit enjoying it.

After doing the 6 bases how much more is there after that in terms of hours gameplay, if im close to the end i may finish it.

And you better buy it Mate! it's what one calls a hidden gem. it's being overlooked for its technical issues (which in no way are that bad). The combat system is absolute brilliance! the story isnt that bad either.

Play.com are doing a monster sale tomorrow so it could be the best time to grab a bargain. They slashed the price of the last remnant to 17.99 too a la prince of persia and it was then that I got it. the offer expired now though but it might appear again tomorrow as part of their sale.
