OK, just got to the Twin Sisters! MAN ....... The b******!!! They literally wiped out all my 4 Unions with Blackout II and to top it all off before they actually did that, one of them restored the other one's health to MAX!!!

I kept dying and I don't have the patients to sit through 30 minutes of fighting to just get killed by a mega boss.

I will no doubt finish it another time, too bad as I was quit enjoying it.

After doing the 6 bases how much more is there after that in terms of hours gameplay, if im close to the end i may finish it.
Its very hard for me to guess as i would do a quest after each main story turn, but around 5hrs maybe?

concentrate on the unions and try to keep one or two back on standby set to heal the unions that need it, then concentrate on one of the sisters, then the other once the first is defeated.

Oh I did that Delgado! but when the HP of the sister I was kicking started flashing, the other one casted SECOND CHANCE and restored 90000HP to the one I almost killed ...BIG WTF moment there :)

If you have 5 unions on the 2 sisters then put 2 on 2 then leave one to heal unions that need it, keep your hp up at all times and slowly but surly they will be whittled down, happy hunting :)

I have 4 Unions actually, It worked best that way. Having 4 Strong Unions is proving very beneficial. I'll give it another try tomorrow... I played way too much today :)

I have 4 Unions actually, It worked best that way. Having 4 Strong Unions is proving very beneficial. I'll give it another try tomorrow... I played way too much today :)
for me 4 strong and one med union worked perfectly as it allowed me to have an extra option in attack, without 5 unions i have no idea how i would have passed the last level.

I have just bought this game and I am loving it. I do not why all the press hate.
It has technichal flaws due to the UE3 (damn you Square why don't you learn to use it properly or try to use one of yours), but as a JRPG it really good.
The combat system is really enjoyable and deep enough to keep you entertained for hours. It could have been deeper but I have no doubts that we will have another LR with an evolved version of it.
The story is nice too, though it starts to fast IMO but the more you play and learn about the characters the more you want to dig in the game.
It is a shame that a lot of users won't care about the game due to his bad presentation.

Absolutely, they slacked off the game for its technical flaws and overlooked a rather very enjoyable gaming experience. the slow downs occur during combat only and they dont affect gameplay AT ALL ... Absolutely not.

Quite true. Another good example is White Knight Story wich got a 29 from Famitsu, a score that I do not care cause as JRPG fan I will get it no matter what. Level 5 rocks and it is one of my favorite developers.
But coming back to LR, it is a good game. Damn the Conqueror is so bad ass as the bad guy!!!

Finally!!!! defeated the twin sisters! Wooot!

After defeating one of them. The other one casted Total Domination and I thought Holy s*** it's game over again luckily it wasnt so bad :) I love how the can cast spell to control some of your unions and use them against you AWESOME!

Just beat the first disc, I love the game, I cant believe how low the review scores were for a game that is this good, I am genuinely in shock! The music is awesome, I love the art style and dont let me get started on the combat system, its awesome!

Did anyone get Caedmon in thier team? He is quality!

Just beat the game. The ending was OUTSTANDING! What a fantastic time I had with this game, simply unbelievable! The endin in fact reminded me of another JRPG ;)

The more I play it, the more I cant believe the reviews it recieved, for me it the best JRPG on 360 by a long way, it makes Lost Odyssey seem pretty avg, I cant get enough of the combat system

It is indeed a brilliant game. I would say as good as Lost Odyssey, at least for me personally.

The deeper you get into the game the better the combat gets, i will be getting the DLC soon just so i can play some more :)

Indeed. TLR is a very underrated game. It is a true jrpg, an old fashioned jrpg, one of those we haven't seen for a long time, and I think that is why he got really bad reviews because nobody likes grinding around anymore. Shame on them.

I hope that somebody can help me. I am stuck on disc 1, I am doing a secondary mission
I am following a swordwoman wich I ave met in the Tabern at Nagapur. The mission is to find a warrior that may help her to have her revenge. The warrior is supposed to be transformed into a monster to and I am in Aveclyff's dungeon at the bottom floor where he is supposed to be and were a lot of monsters are everywhere. I keep fighting all of them but they respawn all the time and I never find the suposed monster wich is the warrior himself. Sombody knows how to hell find him??
