Any UK folks ever ordered from WOWHD before?, there selling the games for £10/£20 cheaper than the other outlets.

they're reliable, but slow. they source from hong kong i believe. used to be called CD-wow. if you're in no rush to recieve the game, then go for it.

Thanks, thought there had to be a catch, but still £20 cheaper than Game and some other outlets.

Yeah graphics will sell many people in RYSE. I know a guy who pre-order it, just because how good these cutscene trailers were looking.

The things going on in that Gametrailers trailer are truly insane - and the shown gameplay should shut most "but it's a QTE-fest"-dudes up. Hats off to Crytek, who weren't afraid to try something new after all them FPS.

Gamespot Ign and a few others were very positive so I feel it's going to be a marmite situation you'll love it or hate it.

After a hands-on with the latest build on the eve of Gamescom, however, I have good news: there's no need to worry about Ryse: Son of Rome. The combat has plenty of depth, and the AI is aggressive enough that you'll be challenged plenty. Oh, and QTEs are merely optional finishing moves, with the giant button prompt over a foe's head replaced by a subtle colored outline around the not-long-for-this-world bad guy that corresponds to the button you're supposed to press in order to nail the best execution.

Hmmm will def give demo a try.
Few next-gen launch games have as much to prove as Killer Instinct does. Much has been made of its free-to-play business model, its modestly-sized cast, and even the track record of its developer, Double Helix. But none of that matters anymore once you play it. It feels so good right off the bat, and gets you matching wits with your opponent so quickly that there’s no time to think about anything else.

If you're like me, you probably have quite a fondness for classic rail shooters like Star Fox 64, Rez, and Panzer Dragoon. That last one in particular is important, because Crimson Dragon is ostensibly a spiritual successor to Sega's incredible series of adventures.

Also speaking of what Crimson Dragon was originally supposed to be, I'm grateful that Microsoft has removed a majority of the Kinect features from the game. Crimson Dragon was originally slated to be controlled via motion gestures, much like how you could play Child of Eden back in 2011. Since this feels so much like a throwback to a classic genre, I'm personally glad that they decided to keep a more traditional mode of play and allow us to use the Xbox One controller instead.

Oh man, I did not like that demo at all. I can't remember the last time I just gave up trying to like a game. Maybe the controls take getting used to, but Separating the control from the aiming on a rail shooter is no bueno, imo...
