Yea I was surprised to see Sky TV as the Digital Foundry review said it wasn't supported. (something tells me its was just a video through the X1, you would probably have to control the skybox via remote still)

It does look amazing but I think there will be a lot of cancelled pre-orders after these reviews.

assuming they have time. shit comes out TOMORROW...chances are these games are already shipped out to buyers...MS and their tactical embargo's. i imagine crazy numbers for returns and ebay sales though.

Not surprised by the scores, other than brutal finishers and great visual treat the game has nothing else to offer with QTE filled segments.

Dead Rising 3 is #2 currently. Forza just coming up behind Mario :)
Should get complete numbers in a week or two, i expect Forza will outsell both dr3 and ryse.

I've played bad games before, managed to truck through and get plenty of entertaining experiences out of them. Despite the worst reviews there's always some fun that can be had playing a mediocre title. I look at the ridiculous hours that I've put into Defiance this year as proof of that. It's a hot mess but it's still loads of fun to play. Lots of hilarious things happen when playing bad games or games with poor design, and when you're playing them with friends you actually get alot of great moments and laughs together.

But a 4hr campaign with NO replay value, Crytek, what are we supposed to do with THAT? It can take time for a gamer to be able to appreciate certain things about a bad game, but it seems that Ryse ends before it even gets started. They shouldn't be charging full price for such a short experience.

Now Ryse is supposed to have 4 expansions, IF Crytek manages to extend the life of the SP campaign to at least 20hrs (assuming that each expansion brings 4hrs of additional play), and makes the attempt to mix up the sword play and combat experience................I'll reconsider a Ryse GOTY edition later on for $20 bucks.
