Atleast PS4 had a HDMI pin issue, but this one is freaking making nasty noise from the disc drive and cant even boot the damn game, and I have been reading the install times for the game is freaking long, longer than PS3 had.

My mate got his X1 lucky bastard! (should get mine tomorrow) no issues his side, you can play games whilst it installs so no issues there, he said he is actually enjoying the voice controls lol

As I said last week when the PS4 had "Hardware problems" these are non-issues.

Issues from both sides, but to me Xbox One disc sound "sounds" nastier than a HDMI issue from PS4.

maybe these are old news for you guys, but the way MS constantly fails to understand the world outside the US is worrying. They should at least sell a cheaper unit on the markets other than the american, given that it's such a gimped product. (way way less content, no voice controls for tons of people).


Take me for example, portuguese fluent in english living in germany. Unable to use the voice commands. I mean, why can't I simply choose English in the console and use the commands? Total bullpoop if you ask me.

I was considering getting one, but not too seriously at least for now since I do most my gaming on the PC, but this..maybe I won't afterall. Not because I absolutely want the voice features, but the lame attitude of MS towards the other markets. Same price, same Xbox live subscription, less features.

seriously, there have been what? 12 reported cases or something...how is this an issue. granted it might turn into one, just like PS4, but as long as they remain day one issues that can be sorted with a replacement asap, i see no reason to worry about it. if it turns into a reliability thing where consoles are dying in 9 months time, then yeah, it's time to complain.

Are these reported install times for games for real? You can't start playing without full installation? Anything that takes over 10-15 mins is unacceptable.

how big is the wait though? i've heard someone had to wait the equivilent of a full, real time game of basketball before they could actually start playing NBA2k14. and then there was the previous thing about COD taking 25 minutes to install 50% before you can start playing.

There are different reports for the same games, which is strange. Maybe faulty drives or some people are confused with title updates, which take forever to download and install? Sucks the updates are over 1gb now, these were super small and quick on 360.

Yeah once the patch is installed and out of the way, game installs before you can play i'm hearing 5mins/7mins, even heard people just wanting to jump right into games without downloading the day one patch, just unplugged the ethernet cable installed from disc and 5mins later were playing the game lol

Get my box tonight so will setup and test out some times :)
