There's tons of hype and excitement about it. A dude with a Playstation logo that's constantly trying to shit on Microsoft isn't excited. My mind is friggin' blown.
I would never support a company that believes Kinect and windows 8, skype or whatever non gaming stuff they are doing. Having said that they might blow everyone with uber console and have some games. They haven't done anything for many years now so I hope they show something good.

At 15:35 into this podcast, Majornelson really stresses the Infinity part of Infinity Ward. Wonder why? :)

Stream on Xbox 360 will be global.

Next week's event is about tell one story across 2 events, revealing next xbox platform, vision for future of games and entertainment. Definitely a lot of surprises planned. Great inside look at making of the new platform and the team that brought it to life. It's about the team, bringing people behind the scenes. It's laying the foundation, and then E3 is all about the games. The only game they confirm is the one people already know about, COD.

So, next week is about giving people a taste, showing a bit of leg, and then they are going to flat out unload at E3. They stress games pretty bigtime when they mention E3. Tons of exclusives and world premieres... at E3. Square Enix style.

Mostly about the console and their overall vision for what they want the console to be, with some games obviously, but it clearly sounds as if all the very heavy hitting stuff might be saved for E3. And maybe it makes sense they don't want respawn and infinity showing at same event.

Tryin to work my way through the Xbox thread on GAF, but I dropped out on page 355 - it's just too much bla and no leaks: but there was a 4.9 Teraflop rumour by IGN that they keep laughing at and recent rumour is something with "Xbox now!" and that it's got 12 Gigs of Ram, 64 MB ESRAM and upped the OC from 12 to 20. But nothing is believable, everyone seems to know "so much", but won't tell ...

Yea, seen the thread aswell, a lot of grasping at straws. The specs range from 1.2TF gpu 8GB RAM to 4.9TF something with 12GB RAM. Certain things like the RAM increase are doable if the base spec was the original leak, even replacing the gpu is doable. I mean they were developing around 2.5 TF gpu for a while so there is potential that they had multiple designs for the console and could choose which to use depending on what sony announced.
