Since 8302 DaysThe Game Developers Conference's PR folks sent over a press release announcing that Microsoft's corporate vice president J Allard will give the conference's keynote address on March 9 in San Fransisco. The keynote's title is "The Future of Games: Unlocking the Opportunity" and if rumors are to be believed this could also be the press conference that officially announces their plans for the Xbox 2 game console to the world.

Microsoft held its quarterly financial conference call after its earnings report today (you can listen to the repeat by accessing the link via Microsoft's investors page. During the Q&A session after the prepared speech, Microsoft's chief financial officer John Connors answered a question about a possible release date for their Xbox 2 game console, and Connors replied that such an announcement may be made at E3 in Los Angeles in May. This may mean that Microsoft may hold off on officially announcing their Xbox 2 console until E3, and not at the Game Developers Conference in March as previously speculated.

Since 8318 DaysPour la PS3 il ne fait quasi aucun doute que je vais l'acheter à son lancement elle aussi. Sony ayant fait l'excellent choix de bosser avec NVidia pour son GPU, il ne fait aucun doute pour moi que cette console ne va absolument pas décevoir comme a pu le faire la PS2.
Quant à savoir si MS va droit dans le mur avec la Xbox 2 avant tout le monde, perso je pense qu'ils font le bon choix SI les jeux du lancement son aussi bon que ce qu'on m'en a laissé espérer. Si le lineup de noel 2005 est de qualité, la Xenon a tout pour exploser les charts. Sinon, Sony va récurer le sol avec les tripes des dev de MS.
