Valve just released this first trailer of Portal, their very experimental first person puzzle game announced with the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Half Life 2/Team Fortress 2. Clearly Prey gave the Valve developers some very nice ideas about how use this cool technology.
Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum @Driftwood Awesome! I’m loving it! It does show a much crisper picture and the frame rate looks good! I was playing Stella Blade and Dragonball Soarkling Blast! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Commented on 2006-07-18 22:19:24But one thing though, no shooting? just puzzle stuff? kind of weak because the graphics are just beautiful especially the weapon view and the physics are awesome and as well.
Commented on 2006-07-18 22:29:47 In reply to BurglarizePretty amazing physics.
I'm a little scared of some of the puzzles though, that player must know the levels well, because it looks pretty damn confusing on some bits.
at least its got singleplayer (maybe just single player!) so no one can see me and you bugger up for a few days lol!
o btw, this package is the one 360 game/thing thats got me REALLY excited!
in my list its above gears, halo 3 etc...

Commented on 2006-07-19 00:18:25Obviously it doesn't have many enviromental stuff going on, but everything else is just spot on!
The motion blur, animations, framerate, overal feeling, etc...
I really hope they build a FPS around this with a story and all, but it looks like it's just basicly a first person puzzle game, pity....
Commented on 2006-07-19 00:32:00"Team Fortress 2 and Portal will be included with all retail and Steam versions of Episode Two for the PC. In addition, these products plus Half-Life 2 and Episode One will be available in one tremendous offering for the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. New videos from Episode Two, Portal, and Team Fortress 2 will be released next week. "
Seems both Portal and Team Fortress 2 will be included in the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Half Life 2

Commented on 2006-07-19 03:47:56Maybe it's because the enviroments are so small and low poly.

Commented on 2006-07-19 06:29:46-an expiriment
-a puzzle game
so the lack of action can be forgiven, as with the weird bland graphics at places.
