GC07: Exclusive Halo 3 footage

We want to thank Microsoft, Bungie and most of all Brian Jarrard for the awesome exclusivity we just landed since we managed to shoot the 17 minutes long presentation of the single player part of Halo 3. This is the first part that's just supposed to be a small sample of the good stuff to come as soon as we make sure our servers are not melting. It showcases the incredible replay feature on the Tsavo Highway level you"ve all come to know and love already. Have fun :)
Update: First gameplay video showing the very beginning of the level.
Update 2: And the second one is online :)
Update 3: Third part of the presentation is online.
Update 4: Last update for today, with the second to last part of the presentation.
Update 5: And here comes the last part! The full presentation will be available in the next few days.

im starting to see why MS had such a low price reduction on the 360, for at least 1 month, halo alone will guarantee sales, sales and more sales. they could go as far as having a price increase and it would still sell, just kidding.

I agree with DC, no sony vs MS in the halo thread.

I was wrong about the graphics. The scale is HUGE!! and no loading to top of that! Amazing lighting, tons of stuff to interact with, solid frame rate, nice phyics!

guess I should have downloaded the hd vid before commenting on the graphics :P

I have and I still can't say anything about it. It is still just a video of a screen. No direct feed.

Oh how I would love to have that mission as a demo at the near future, or any other singleplayer mission or heck even half of a mission with that kind of scale, would be good so I could show my bro's how good it really looks, they never had a chance to see me play the beta and that sucked

WOW the lighting at the beginning of the level video looks wicked with those flash lights, really looks good with the selfshadowing as well thank god they added that, people seem to forget that the others didnt have true self shadowing.

lol i did see that heavinly sword got bad ratings so far, but thats besides the point lets stick to halo chatter and not stray., the fact is the levels are IMMENSE and the graphics have definitly taken a large leap forward, from the self shadowing and new lighting effects, much better texturing, and massive levels, this games gonna be sick, and from the look of it, its not just the same corridors over and over again the military base had some depth to it, defintily peaking my interest big time.
