I know we are two days late with this video of Halo 3, but somehow it looks like Microsoft France thought it would be fun to give us our review copies of the game only today. Thumbs up! Anyway, the game will be released tomorrow officially in France so I guess we are not *totally* late. This video was recorded by myself, and by no means am I a good FPS player (that's usually Snoopers' job but he's on his way back from Japan) so I guess it will have to do. I don't think I was totally ridiculous, especially since I was playing in Heroic difficulty. Keep in my mind that this was done with the French version, and I had no choice but to use the French voices :(

Big thanks to Driftwood and Vincent for the failed attempt to record the video at home a couple of days ago. It COULD have worked. :)

Wrong! I played Legendary the first mission, got my ass kicked, backed out did Heroic for the first 3 missions, got into the story, decided to just finish the rest on normal, then beat it on Legendary with two noobs.

No, you were commenting on the game. Sorry that's wrong again, you were trolling and ranting. If you didn't see the game how it is on the hardest modes how are you supposed to give an oppinion?

Best game in a long while. How anyone can complain about the graphics is beyond me. It looks great, and plays even better...

And I'm getting my ass pounded on heroic, but I love every second of it

I will be VERY VERY pissed off if mine breaks...again, on November.
Mass Effect and Assassins Creed comes out then, but anyone who is lucky enough to play their favorite games on the 360 and it hasent broken should enjoy it very much.

People stop complaining that Halo 3 is too old and familiar..thats the point! its a series!!! any way i already beat the game at my buddies place cuz my 360 is in the shop (NOOOOOOOOO!!!!) but he just has a wee lil standard TV, so il get too see what it will lok like on my tv..well almost il be in 1080p :)

Wow. Haven't seen the video yet, but the game was phenominal!

My 11 hour slog on legendary (well, heroic for the first 3 then legendary after that) first time through was amazing! In all that time I didn't notice any glitches or slowdowns at all.

In fact, the only time i've experienced slowdown of any kind in Halo 3, was in theatre mode, fast forwarding at the maximum speed.

I can't get over how good it is. And how can people say it looks bad? Sure, not as good as crysis, but that game is running on more powerful hardware, and won't be out for some time yet.

For the scale of the environments, the size of the battles, the great lighting, great AI, its easily the best looking game on 360 IMO.

Gears had better detail, but scale was poor.

well, my buddies and I beat it right away on heroic, but on solo, even Heroic a real challenge. don't get me started on solo Legendary. BRUTES ARE TOO HARD!

I'm sure the levels open up a lot more later on but that sure was a linear level in the video. Graphics weren't OMG amazing but the water sure was nice. It also seems like the original Halo may have had better AI?
