Capcom has finally released a direct feed version of the characters video of Street Fighter IV first show during the AOU in Tokyo a few days ago. Looking good.

what about bakrog, vega, bison and sagat?
Yes most likely, the team has already stated that their plan from the begining was to bring back all the world warrior cast. There is a good chance Sakura and Ibuki will also be in the game.

I really want to see Fei Long and Dee Jay!!

While the art style looks good, there are two problems still bothering me.

1. Everyone but C.Viper is built like a bodybuilder, including Dhalsim(who should be skinny), E honda(who should be fat) and Chun Li(who shouldn't have such gigantic forearms and hands).

2. The game moves slower than SF3. You can't tell from this video(because they flash things around trying to hide it), but from actual videos recorded from the arcade show and gdc, you can definitely tell. It moves like a 3d fighter(except for the foreground/background movement), and has such hit detection and slowness of one.

lol shit does not even come close to moving like 3d, if the players cant move in 3d gameplay, its not 3d, people need to give that stance up already. Its 2d and the fighters move as such. It just has a 3d perspective graphics wise.

Aweeeeesooooomeeee trailer.

Loving the facial expressions during the fighter, especially when Ryu got punched in the chest.

I'm not impressed at all, very horrid art style no clear evolution in gameplay and most of the characters are recycled from Street Fighter 2. Might aswell of just called it Hyper Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo EX

Impressive. Much better in motion. It's good that they're not trying to be another photo-realistic fighter. Too many of those as it is. Sticking to the old art-style is a smart move.

Yes, it is 2d in the sense that they can't move in 3 dimensions, I just said that. But the 3d "graphics" wise is what's making it a slower game and giving it such a hit detection. Just watch the interview with the creator about 3d and watch some of the videos and you'll see what I mean.

It being 3d graphics wise is not whats making this particular game slow, there are more 3d(3d movement) fighting games that move faster than this by the way. The game speed is by choice, when 1up( cant remember if it was 1up or ign) first talked about seeing the game in motion, they talked about how fast the game was and folks at Capcom told them that they were going to slow it down as they go to their preference.

Looks okay. Looks god awful slow and the impressions are really all over the place from GDC. They've got a hit on their hands anyway, it seems.. because while I believe the burden of proof (or proving themselves) is on Capcom for the majority of old SF fans, that's obviously not the key market for this game anyway.

SFEX moved in 2D too ;)
