Fans can rejoice ! We are now June 12th, 2008 (in Europe at least :p) and Metal Gear Solid 4 is officially available in every good shop of the civilized world. About our traditionnal First 10 Minutes, we offer you the long introduction cut-scene of the game as well as three gameplay clips from the 1st Act. The shorter one showcases some combat in the streets of the Bagdad-like city you start your journey in, the second one a memorable attack of the Frogs - very powerful bionic foes that jump like frogs and walk on the walls - in an abandoned hotel, and finally a moderately discreet sneaking sequence in Liquid's camp. Enjoy !

loving the MGO too shame there wasnt more game modes, just the ones in the beta. was hopeing for more sneaked based games. but still sick

I am playing sneaky, have yet to kill anyone (tranquilized a few though).

Yep the AI ain't really good, but that s ...err ... good. otherwise i couldn't sneak past a lot of situations (i mean, even with camouflage, snake is visible like a nose on the middle of a face unlike MkII).

Looks quite dull and simplistic. Gotta say some parts look good but mostly average. Low resolutio ntextures stand out aswell as the low resolution blocky shadows. Doesnt help either when you see the polygon edges on objects and people.
Average animations that aint even close to the cutscene animations and cartony faces. Als othe AI is horrible, just watch the videos, my god and this is supposed to be an intelligent stealth game???

I wont blame Kojima though, he said the Cell and PS3 was not good enough for more eye candy. He tapped the Cell to its limits but atleast he could have downgraded the graphic a bit to get stable framerate. Whenever there happens a bit of action then it dips down, almost unplayable at times.

Wow...you're so WRONG! Really stupid comments...before you make stupid comments I suggest you play it on a HDTV with 5.1 sound and I think you'll change your mind.

they forgot how to program the AI? look at the first video, the npc was just standing there waiting for the player to do something..EPIC FAIL!

I actually played it on a 46" 1080p HDTV of high quality. Aswell as 7.1 surround setup all worth a total of 8000$. Now if you are sitting 5 meters from a 20" TV for your judgement then ummm... even PS2 games would look fantastic at that distance!

i bet this game like 10 time's i got say that this game is better then HALO, GEARS, AND EVEN RESISTANCE!
There is so much in this game that then you see why it cant fit in DVD
