can you imagine seeing that walking towards you ingame, and fully animated to insomniacs high standards. it will look crazy. can't wait for the E3 vids.
I just don't like the art style and the whole "alternate WWII but with aliens" crap. It's like just one step above another COD WWII game. I prefer newer locales personally. But that monster does look awesome.

It's not much like COD/MOH at all, really. It has scifi themes and weapons, and in many ways is more Quake than Call of Duty. It's pretty original, really, so far as its sets go, and weapons. Many areas in the first game take place within Chimeran complexes, which are beautiful and very futuristic.
I don't mind WWII either (actually, I love it--I can't wait for BIA:HH), but this is hardly a WWII game. I also can't wait for Wolfenstein.. another great alternative WWII universe.
Getting more and more interested in this one as time passes by, even though I hated the first one. Could be something truly epic judging by the scale they are trying to achieve.
Graphics so far are pretty disappointing though, but...we'll see. Atleast we know it will be well polished, which is worth something indeed...especially this gen.

Looks a bit like gears&hl2, but I thought both of those games did okay, so good that they acquire ideas from the better-than-average-games...
