Xbox 360 PS3

Since our american and french concurrents finally decided to bypass the embargo on the gorgeous Final Fantasy XIII trailer - a game that is now multiplatform, may we recall you - we take all our courage to offer you a video that is also shot from the conference, but in all its vibrant 720p deghosted glory. In other words, a stunning quality. That was the least we could do to welcome this epic saga on Xbox 360.

Notice the Avaialble at LAUNCH in US/Europe ? meaning Simultaneous release with the PS3 version so no wait! SWEET!. Japan though is only getting the PS3 version earlier than everybody else as usual.

When a game like this goes multi-platform, nothing is safe anymore.

Be on the lookout for Versus multi and even possible Kingdom hearts 360 if that is even going next gen. Square Enix pretty much confirmed Final Fantasy 14 will be on the Xbox 360 or the next xbox. The game will sell big on the 360. They wont be ignoring that in the future.

So Square CEO was really pissed off by Sony :)

At least we'll be able to choose the best version out of both platforms (for the people who have both).

I like the story so far, knowing that the player is the one to bring chaos and destroy a peaceful world :P

Will there be any direct feed trailer of FFXIII in the near future?
And they should stop to fill the videos mostly with CGI.

FFXIII for the 360? – Sweet!
Now I can choose. The 360 version is my favorite now since I like the control of the 360 better. But oh well I have to wait and see if there are other differences except that it probably will fill up 4 DVDs instead of 1 BR with installation.

I don't see this as being any different from when GTA wen't multiplatform. A lot of fanboys kept saying "How much money is Microsoft giving them for this!" when in reality, it turned out to be because of the fact Sony wasn't giving them enough money. They could make far more money by making the game multiplatform, and no amount Sony threw at them could change that. I imagine it's the same thing here, with the exception of Japan, it's going to sell very well on the 360.

Still seems a little odd to miss out Japan, surely there would be SOME people in Japan who would get a 360 just to buy this? You know, the FF fanboys who've been waiting for this to be released before buying a PS3?

That won't really matter with the new 360 features. Just install them to the harddrive. Faster loading to boot.

Heh when i saw the dragons at the start I was thinking that also, but then I thought wait its SE... then I though new IP and when I saw the guys in the yellow uniform, I was like ... No F***ing Way!

Good day for 360 owners, Sony are idiots for letting this slip, nothing they can do will make up for it, not even FF7 remake would make up for it IMO, (although it might help :P)

I read that Square Enix squashed those rumors saying both games were being worked on and both were coming along.
